How many words should a post on the blog contain in average?

Is there a setting that tells you how many words you have used or written in your posts or do you have to count them? ;) I do not wish to make mine to very long as I know with my self if I see it looks like it will take to much of my time I simply won't go any further.

1500+ is what the SiteRubix says but it also says to change it up and have some with less and some more.

I hope that helps Michele

Your WordPress editor keeps a word count for you. It's near the bottom left hand corner.

Thanks Tony! :)

Well well well !!! There it is LOL.... I knew there was a way somewhere and I knew if I asked I would get the answer .. Thanks much Steve :)

Up too you.

Hi Lukas, You want to be around the 1200-1500 range seems to be what Google likes. What's most important is that your post should be informative and not just about filling a page with words. I have some posts that are over 2000 and some around 1000, it just depends on what I am writing about. Write for your audience and you can't go wrong. Good luck Mike.

Thank you Mike. I think the average 1200-1400 will be appropriate for the first posts. At the beginning it will be the most reasonable option for google, my readers and me.

You want at least 500 words - mine average 1000 - 1300 but I only know this because I looked.

My thought is write until you have said what you need to say. Make it great, informative and engaging and you'll be fine.

Thank you!

There really is no right or wrong answer to this one. I personally would recommend around 500 - 800. Anything over, I think is getting a bit long and in this day and age, people don't tend to have the time to sit around reading.

Here's a blog on this topic which you may find an interesting read:

Thank you for your advice!

There's really no average words your blog should be. It's as long as you want it to be. I have seen blogs from 200-4000 words.

However, this question has come up many times in the past, and from what I have gathered (from many opinions and feedback), 250-400 words seems to be the minimum.

Hope this helps!

-Jimmy

Thanks for your help Jimmy!

Im wondering which autoresponder to choose. Both seem to be comparable.

In my opinion GetResponse is much better than AWeber. On GetResponse official website you can find trial version of this email marketing software for totally free. If you have any questions feel free to ask me :-)

Aweber is great

All a matter of opinion, but I prefer Getresponse.

Thanks

Hello, its my first post here, so I want to say hello everybody:)

Im not living in US, but Im considering doing this business on american market. And the first question is

The sky is the limit, there are over 2 billion people that use the internet, it comes down to you. How much time, and effort you put into building your on-line business. Follow the course lessons closely, many of them, I have gone back, and watched again, some 3 or 4 times. Good luck!!

Thanks for your response. I will follow the course lessons . But its interesting for me if anybody can show off his results. For example "Im in the business X months and I make Y dolars? I was searching for some stats but I didnt find it.

Yeah, you won't find any specific's, it's a personal thing with most people, including myself, and how someone else does has little bearing on how you will do.

Yes, I know that for many people this is a personal thing. But on the other hand I have just few minutes ago found some anonymous stats: http finchsells com/2013/10/10/how-much-can-you-earn-from-affiliate-marketing/ I don't know whether this data can be reliable or not, but if it is, the perspectives look better than good. How do you think? In my opinion before starting a business it is crucial to know what are the chances to succeed. Maybe there are some other researches?

Yeah, it's always a good idea to research, and you'll be doing lots of that in the coming days....good luck.
