Do You Need A Break? Back from my break and what I learned
In my last blog post many people had recommended that I take a break in my work. So, I did. Here is what I accomplished/did over the course of my break
What My Schedule has Looked Liked: Over the days of my break my schedule was less demanding and more relaxing. Everyday I would do my homework, read, and exercise. Those were truly the only tasks that I had on my schedule each day. I had a lot of time left over which was great and I spent most of it either sleeping or watching YouTube videos. It feels great to be able to get back into this knowing that their is no rush. With a steady pace and a great attitude everything will workout.
What I Learned: I'm not going to lie before I took my break I was a little hesitant. I thought that having a break wouldn't do anything but make me stressed when I returned. Either way I decided that taking a break was the right move. Over the break I learned many new theories and tricks/tips on entrepreneurship. Today is the end of my break and I feel as though it is a great time to get back into it. I learned that sometimes a break may be more needed than you think.
What I Accomplished/Gained: The most noticeable accomplishment gained from my break was the increase in my writing skills. My writing skills seem to have become just a bit better. This could be a result of me spending much of my free time reading as well as writing summaries on what I read.
Do You Need A Break? I don't know what your current circumstances may be, but what I do know is that if you feel stressed or overwhelmed I would highly recommend taking a break. The main benefit I noticed that I received (behind my writing skills improving) would be an all around better mindset. I have a much better mindset returning to WA than I did when I left. I went from a little stressed to not stressed at all. I believe that the time invested into the break has already payed itself off and will continue to do so in the future.
Overall, I am very satisfied that I took the communities advice and took a break. What I learned and gained over the break will forever be remembered and I can not thank the community here at WA enough.

Luis, what you experienced is the balancing of "Mother Nature." The adage all work and no play makes Jack, in this case Luis, a dull person." Like you earlier in my career I was running constantly, only taking long weekends. One year I had to go to a competition in another country and decided to take a month's vacation. Whoa what a difference. I did not know that I was stressed and running on empty until then. Since then I always take at least three weeks of vacation. That is to say if you took sick, and I hope it does not happen, will the business survive? The answer as you have proven is yes. Balance your work life with family, and relaxation.
Taking a break is important to you and the health of your business.
I am currently on vacation and only brought my iPad with me. I am an early riser. So I have a couple of hours before everyone else wakes up. Plus I get to watch the sun rise.

Yes, Luis. Taking a break and walking away from whatever is frustrating you and coming back to it later is good advice
Agreed, this experience has taught me that and I hope that it help teaches others the same.
