My 2020 Vision

2020 is almost here. I joined WA November 2019 and so far, I have achieved the goals I have set for myself to reach this December. I ranked over 300,000 when I first joined and my goal was to reach below 10K, and I did it. Another goal is to write posts with relevant keywords in order to get indexed, and it did!

One of the lessons here suggest getting your own name as a domain, and luckily my name is available so I grabbed it. I now have three domains and one of them already got indexed. This week, I started working on the other two, while going back to the first lessons in creating your own website. It is a good practice to keep on going back to the previous lessons to refresh your knowledge and get to know the system better.

Even with the setback brought by the holiday season (busy with holiday baking, and got sick) I am happy when I looked back on my first few weeks with WA.

In one of my site, I have talked about having SMART goals. Here's what I want to achieve within the first three months of 2020. I am being conservative here, since I am busy with my full-time job and being a mom to three teens who are always hungry :)

"I will rank below 5,000 in WA, have my two other sites up and running, create at least 2 posts a week on my main domain, and 1 post a week on the other 2 sites, I will have my first sale in January and continue the momentum until the end of March."

I believe that these goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. It is good to have goals in the short term (3 months) so I can look back and see what works, what did not, and how to improve in order to achieve them.
