"If you can't beat fear, just do it scared. " Somewhere on the internet

I'm going to be honest this program is really easy to follow along with but then when I look at the all the other tools and areas of the program; I start to get a little overwhelmed and I don't want to get ahead of myself, but I also don't want to get overwhelmed paralysis (if that is even a thing) or information overload and get stuck. Any suggestions on how to just stay focused.

I also don't know what I am even passionate about, so I am trying to find a niche that maybe I am just knowledgeable or know enough about to be able to share with others. I don't want to make this too hard but I just wish I was born with a God giv3en talent or that I just knew exactly what I wanted.

No offense to anyone but I get so disappointed with the ways ppl tell us to think about or how to come up with what we want to do in life. What do you like to do? I don't even really know anymore what brings me joy or what I like doing. What are you good at? I don't even feel like I'm that smart or smarter than or more knowledgeable than the next person, what skills do you have? I have worked in the hospitality industry; I was the front office supervisor for a family practice and was in the medical field for 10 years prior to that. I don't know anything about sales, or marketing, or design, No degree in phycology or a degree period. And yes, I realize we don't necessarily need a degree to be able to make money.

I know I don't know what I'm doing but if don't take any action or at least try then I will never learn or ever know, but I guess I just got so overwhelmed with all the information; I start to feel lost, and I'm probably worried about the wrong thing.

I'll be appreciative about any advice or suggestions you can offer.

I just tell myself to breath and not to rush. Just learn and keep going. It doesn't have to be perfect, right. I can go back and make it better later on. Just don't let fear stop me from taking the next step.

I know we are here to help others and excuse me for making this one personal. I appreciate the fact we can be ourselves here, not to mention just a mega group of people who have been new at one time. others who feel the same way(maybe). So, I want to be able to just look back on this feeling one day and say It wasn't that serious and be happy to help others one day.

Hello! I have had my site a little more than a year. I wrote 230 articles about locations within my niche. Then I took a few months that I didn't work on my site as often. Be sure to watch all the training videos as I'm doing that now because those have changed some, so I'm wanting to see all the training videos. These other videos they put out per week are also good to view if that interests you. Its good to write about topics within your niche, but to change within and write about different things. They say to write 2 articles at least per week and that keeps my site active and did start to increase my SEO about visitors to my site. Having new ideas is good to think about. I'm thinking of starting a you tube of my site that I'm working on a similar name, so if I start making videos I will also refer to look at my articles site so as to get the sites to interact. Try not to get in a rut like I was in writing articles about locations that I did. If I write more I will write about items within my niche that I may want to sell. I try to keep my mind active thinking of new ideas to write about and now thinking of doing the videos part I hope expands and interacts the two sites and I think it will be a good thing to do that. I try to think about new ideas about my niche and how to expand the site.

It's normal to be anxious when starting a new job or career.
Start working through the lesson plans. You'll be learning a lot about the Internet that you never knew. When it comes time to pick a nich and you have no idea what to pick, do some research. If you still don't find anything that interests you, just pick something so you can move along in your training. As your moving along in your training and gaining knowledge, something will come your way that interests you and you'll be ready.
I believe everyone was born with a God given talent. You'll find yours. Hang in there.

Hi Vanessa,

It is very easy to get overwhelmed in the world of online business. I wanted to start a new website but had no idea what topic to cover. Like you, doing what you know did not help. I considered what I enjoyed doing and what subjects I was comfortable with but not necessarily an expert at. I then started with one topic that I knew I liked and had some knowledge of. I plugged that into ChatGPT and asked it to give me ideas to build a niche from, something I could expand into a blog with enough information to cover that would make a decent amount of income. Chat returned ten items, which was a good start.

Next, I went through the list and picked one topic that resonated with me. I plugged that topic into ChatGPT, asking what topics I could cover using this as a niche. I then asked for topic outlines, affiliate programs, eBook ideas, and any money-making opportunities with this topic. Doing this type of research worked well for me, and I am now working on the new website. Yesterday, I devised five article outlines and started my introductory post to this new site.

I’m in a different stage of life than you. I’ve had two successful careers and every retired. I see what I’m learning at WA has something completely new. One thing I’ve learned is that there’s no timeframe. If I had a full-time job, I’d be taking my time to learn affiliate marketing. Since my full-time job is retirement I can still take my time. I know what I’m passionate about, but I don’t really know how to get it across. It’s like anything else, we have to learn.

Hi Vanessa!

You have very valid concerns about this entire affiliate marketing process!

I have been with WA since June 2014. It was not nearly as robust as it is now. I was recommended to follow the training step by step and not get distracted by every shiny new object.

So many new additions are being made to the WA platform. This is great for those of us who understand its value, having used the platform for years. Don't get frustrated! Have a plan to get through your training, as Kyle has laid it out. It is formulated to get you where you want to go. Don't miss a step!

As far as a niche, I was told to pick one that I was passionate about. That made sense to me because if I like that niche and have experience with it, then that will most likely show up in my website content.

Be Blessed!
