If I delete a website, does the domain name get deleted too

I think these folks are right in what they say. I would advise you to run it by Kyle or Carson to be sure though. But, since you bought the domain elsewhere, it's yours I would say.

I have deleted two websites because I didn't like the domain I chose. I bought the domain I am using now and assigned it to a brand new website, but the other domains are still mine until they expire.

I am pretty sure it works that way.

Maybe that helps

I think if you have bought the domain name you can keep that but you would have to host it elsewhere, you just have to re direct servers

Are you referring to deleting your website on WA under the "Build My Website" section?

If you own your own domain name, like at namecheap, then no. You can clear out your hosting pages on the website and start over. As long as your name servers, from your domain provider, still point to WA.

If you have the free website here, ex. domain.siterubix.com, then yes it will delete it and you will have to start over.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for this ..

If I delete a website, does it also delete the free domain name. I have only one website but am told that I have used up my free domain names.

You should be able to delete a siterubix site and create a new one. I know kyle mentions it in the beginning training somewhere. Starter members can have two free siterubix sites at any time but they can delete one and start a new one. Were you trying to remake the site using the same domain name? or simply trying to make a new site? If it continues to give you problems I would leave a comment on Kyle or Carson profile and see if they get back to you

There's a similar discussion going on about this. I don't think WA will let you delete one site to start up another one. If you upgrade to premium, you can have as many free sites as you want. I would read the details on the free site for non-premium members, that should give you the answers you need.
