Can you make money with wealthy affiliate? - Progress Update
Hi everyone! :)
So I've been here a few months now and just wanted to share my experience.
I haven't been posting much lately but have been trying to increase me presence on my social media platforms (annoying to my son as I have now surpassed his gram followers and am at around 165, which I never thought possible!?) :D
So the question on every new starters lips, is can I really make money here?
I'm here to eagerly tell you YES!
This month I have seen a slow increase on google adsense and am almost getting daily revenue from it. :D It's small, but it all adds up and is ticking nicely after a few months of looking daily and becoming disheartened as the amount had stayed the same lol.
I have also now started earning commissions! And every day I am seeing new users on my site, whether I post/advertise or not on that day, including through organic search means! It's not a ridiculous increase or enough to make a normal human jump for joy, but to me it does make me happy as it indicates progress!
I have started making small commissions here and there, and have actually been in contact with a few people asking for me to do collabs on Instagram, and also met some friendly people along the way in the same field as me (blogging and parents), so it's become a nice way for me to communicate too during lockdown.
So anyways, there you have it for all the newbies out there, just keep grinding and yes, you will definitely start to see progression. :) I'm not quite at the point of mastery and rolling in 20,000 a night yet like some of you experts ;) , but I feel im on my way and that is good enough for me at the moment, although I'll still keep working on that lol.

hey. thanks for sharing. I am feeling super stagnant atm so maybe your positive vibe can lift me up. I recently realized I had mistakenly downloaded Google Analytics twice on my wordpress and my numbers were super inflated. I am slowly now seeing how little traffic I have at moment. I am in parenting too with a focus on breastfeeding.
I feel like I am doing something terribly wrong but can't put my finger on it. I am 6-7 months in with around 40 posts on my site.
I have a question for you. Where is most of your traffic coming from right now?

Hey there, Aw don’t worry about going stagnant, I spend half my time at uni and doing exams/assignments and I’m a mom of two, so sometimes I don’t write one post in over a week! 😫
Last month I had like five organic searches and the rest was from promoting on social media.
Today though I have had 6 organic searches in one day (new high lol), so I think you just have to be patient with the organic searches.
I will say Instagram (although I have no experience prior and no idea how) :D has become my favourite to find traffic, but it only works if you actually engage with others that have things in common with you as well as just promoting. Ie, I have a lot of parents and mom bloggers on mine and we interact about general stuff and kids etc as well as just promoting (It’s nice to talk to people who I share things in common with too, so it’s not just about traffic once you get into it) :)
Pinterest is slowly gaining traffic too, but you have to be pretty consistent with that as the newsfeeds fill up pretty quick and drown your stuff out otherwise.
