Take Action Techniques
Take Action Techniques:
There are several techniques you can apply when you create your
e-commerce store.
Included:
- What Is A Call to Action? [CTA]
- Call-To-Action Buttons
- Keep It Above The Fold
- Test Different Colors
What is a call to action?
Your call-to-action is what tells your visitors' what to do, where they should
click and what they should buy. It's the path that guide them to that light at your
checkout.
This turns your visitors' into customers very quickly.
Sample of Call--to-Action Buttons:
- SHOP NOW
- BUY NOW
- SHOP THIS COLLECTION
- ADD TO CART
- LAST CALL
- And the list goes on....
It' very important to test and optimize your front store.
Your've spent endless hours building and customizing your store, but have you wondered
why aren't any visitors' adding products to their cart? Are you getting traffic, but isn't converting? Perhaps your visitors' are having a hard time navigating your store, because
your Call-To- Action aren't clear and precise enough.
Did you know that URGENCY is what increases conversion rates.
When customers feel an opportunity is limited, they take action to get the product
before gone.
This same technique can be applied to your e-commerce store!
EXAMPLE:
" ONLY ON SALE UNTIL MIDNIGHT."
Keep It Above the Fold
Try keeping everything above the fold if you can.
"The fold of a store front is the point on any website and comes after strolling."
Using a color that resonates with your visitors' and your brand.
Here are a few suggestions to consider:
CTA's
- Try using white space around your CTA to make it clear where the customers should click
- Make sure your call-to-action Button stands out from the background
- Don't fill the space up with weird colors and animations
Simply The Use Of Buttons:
- Make sure your CTA appears as a button and not text.
- Button works very well for directing customers to the checkout counter.
EXAMPLE:
If you're selling coffee, try changing the copy on your "BUY" button
to "BREW IT"
Conversion is what we're trying to get.
It's quite obvious to grab a visitors' attention above the fold.
Okay, That's it for now! I don't want to bore you with so much to read!
Basically, this is just a summary of what we have already learned in Kyle classes.
"We must always give credit where credit is due!"

Hi Louisa, yes a feeling of scarcity or limited time availability is a feature of many successful internet entrepreneurs, for example Russell Brunson and Clickfunnels. Their advertising is all about that. Best Alan
Amazing how many people forget about a simple CTA, especially at the end of their videos. They remember to include a Call To Action in their contact forms, emails and landing pages, but for some reason, they let their videos fade out at the end without a URL, phone number to call, an email address or any contact info. It boggles the mind!
Yes, thank you for Voicing!
And I do agree to you. What's said is
Facts, and I appreciate you for that.
Cheers!
