Stay Focused!

I start each day with a 45 minute run; I call this me time!

Before anyone starts asking for breakfast, a clean shirt,
packed lunch etc etc (mums around the world will empathize with me here) I put
on my running shoes and step outside.

For the first 10 – 15 minutes while I settle into the rhythm
I find my mind darting everywhere and I usually think of another dozen or so
niche markets I could target. The trick now is to clear my mind and focus ; for
the next 30 minutes I do just this. I put aside the ideas for new websites and
focus on what needs to be done today on my existing sites. By the time I get home
I have a clear vision of what I want to achieve that day and the practical
actions I need to take to achieve this.

As soon as I walk back through the door I write down these
actions before chaos ensues!

My long term goal as an internet marketer is to have a large
portfolio of profitable niche websites but right now I know I have to stay
focused on the three I already have.

Keep on running!

I'm another one of "need some me time" people. I walk the dogs everyday, and then there's the gym a couple of days a week, too. The mp3's playing with something motivational on it at the same time. I'm a single mum with a ten year old going on fifteen some days :). Thank you for the reminder about focus Liz. It was perfect timing for me to read your blog today about it.

Thanks for your comments Annie. How's business with you.

Enjoyed your blog.Helped me to appreciate the need to stay focussed no matter what ensues. Thank you

Thanks for your comments

Kids are gone so have a whole bunch of time. but I still need to stay focused.
Thanks
Kymee

What do you do to focus your mind Kymee

Do you know I was only thinking that this morning - great minds think alike Tommy!

Very good idea but to save time writing everything done when you get home dictate it as you are running just a suggestion.

Walking, swimming, cycling - whatever works for you!

I do an hour walk instead of running ,,,my running days are over.....cheers

Like what you said here and how you said it. 45 focused minutes sounds good.

I like your running "me time"! :)

I agree with your approach.
