It all comes down to your DAILY ACTION plan!
In most ventures we have in life we come across circumstances or events that deter us off of our intended path. We lose track, focus and we begin to fall short. This has happened to me, not once, but many times, in different aspects of my life. I am sure that you can say the same.
At the end of the day if we don't set ourselves a detailed ACTION plan we will not be able to reach the success we dream of.
Setting Goals is of Utmost Importance. WHY?
We all know that we must set goals in order to help us achieve the things we want. Want to buy something? Set a goal of how much you need to save each month to get it in the number of desired months.
This especially holds true for an online buiness. We all get started VERY excited and motivated. We set goals. Life happens, we lose motivation and excitement, we get less and less done and then we begin to lose hope in the process. But do you know what? It isn't the process failing, it is ourselves. Why? Because we are not taking action towards accomplishing those set goals.
It is VERY important to write down your goals and keep them somewhere you look very often.
First, set Long Term Goals...
This is what you desire in the future, say a year from now (or longer). For example my goals a year from now are as follows:
- to be a WA Ambassador
- to help 300 people be successful in their online affiliate marketing venture
- to take my website from a baby to adulthood
Long term goals give you direction, a sense of purpose. They also allow you to see what hurtles you may have.
Next, set Short Term goals...
Our short term goals need to be smaller goals that will help us achieve our long term goals. Once again, I will speak of a few short term goals of mine, they are as follows:
- Be helpful and more active in WA community.
- Complete Affiliate Bootcamp.
- Post 2-3 posts a week on my website.
Short term goals get you closer to your main goals. They allow you to stay motivated, allow you to celebrate milestones and they also allow us to see where we are in accomplishing our main goal and if we need to make any adjustments.
It doesn't stop there...
No, it does not stop there. We also need a DAILY action plan! This is going to allow us to really hone in and stay focused. It further breaks down the process so that we stay on track to actually accomplish those goals we set out to accomplish. It's the things we do on a daily basis that allows us to tackle even those short term goals.
You can set your DAP out for each working day. Some days may look different. I will be sitting down each weekend and setting out my DAP in a weekly planner. Having something to do daily can help you stay on track and allows you to feel accomplished once you finish a task. I will give an example although I may adjust mine differently from day to day.
Monday
- Post a post on WA, welcome 5 new members, like and comment on at least 10 posts. respond to referrals, replies, etc.
- Go through training and take action.
- Keyword research- Choose 3 keywords that follow Kyle's guidelines that I will be doing posts for this week.
Setting Your Goals...
When setting your goals:
- Be specific and clear.
- Be realistic.
- Know that it isn't set in stone, changes can be made, and that's ok.
It all boils down to taking Daily Action. So what are you waiting for? If you haven't already set yours, stop what you doing and do so now.
Here's to your success!
What's some of your Daily Action Plans? This may help others create theirs.

I keep a checklist of daily activities to keep track of my progress.
Then, whichever I miss from Mon-Fri, I try to meet up at the weekend.
Thank you for the helpful tips.
Love this!
Have a little checklist with my daily to do list, grouped in time of day and activities.

Great article
Thank you for sharing
Yes! The more detailed the easier it is to stay on track and focused. It also feels good to check them off as you make progress. 🤪😁
