One Step at a Time
All of us have hopes and dreams in life. There is something that each of us want to achieve at certain times of life. No matter what your goal is, you can get there if you have commitment, motivation and focus.
Before you proceed always have a clear picture of what your goal is. Make sure you have a detailed vision of your proposed achievement. Map out the path to achieving your goal with small attainable steps, noting each time you accomplish a step. A modest reward is always a nice motivator. Commit yourself to the path that leads you where your dreams are fulfilled. Own every part of your journey.
Motivation is the juice that keeps you going one more time, one more day when everything and everyone around you seem to be saying, “Give up”. When your motivation is low, your commitment, and focus are tested; go back and take a look at your map. Notice the steps that have been plotted out for your success. Have you check off any of the steps, how did it feel when you achieve that goal? Remember there is more and a greater reward, more satisfaction, more accomplishment, growth, and esteem.
Always keep your goal in focus. Keep in mind what you want to achieve, what has to be done today, and then next day. You know the saying; no pain, no gain. Some activities may seem unpleasant, unnecessary, or less than fulfilling but continue to move forward. Each positive step can be used to fuel you for the next step. By acknowledging yourself for the work that you put forth, you will not only stay focused but also enjoy to fruits of reaching your goal.
