A White Christmas
Last night was the first snow fall for this year and I went out and took this picture I didn't expect it to turn out.
There is something special about a white Chistmas is seems to bring in the christmas spirit for me.
I spent 31 years in Latin America and this is the only time of the year that I missed the snow. I wanted to get a clean snow fall before the snow plow got here to mess it all up.
I love how the light captured the snowflakes

Thanks Linda!
I’m one of the crazy people who loves winter.
With the type of arthritis I have the cold actually makes it feel better, and I suffer much more in the heat.
My dog loves to play in the snow, and that makes me happy.
Enjoy your Holidays whatever the weather!
Blessings,
KyleAnn
Thanks KyleAnn for participating and giving your comments because regardless of were we are the most important is the Christmas Spirit.
This means different things to different people. It's nice to share with others these feeling. I thing Christmas is the only time of year that people let go of material things and participate in the gift of giving.
always a better way
Merry Christmas KyleAnn
Wonderful to see snow, Linda! Thank you for posting.
I will miss the Xmas Markets in Germany ...
But we have snow too :-) The Mauna Kea should be already white. It was pretty cold last night!
Have a great snow day!
Aloha, Jenna
PS: Talk more to you soon!
Jenna lovely to hear from you again and thanks for participating. I can't imagine that Hawaii could be cold as I spent 31 year in Latin America and we went to the beach every year on Boxing Day for a week.
The holiday Spirit means different things to different people but I thinks I have had the best of two worlds.
The TV is full of Christmas stories and they all have to do with a snowy white Christmases. It was fun to share The First of December count down to Christmas here at WA because we are an International Platform and Christmas is celebrated all over the world.
Merry Christmas Jenna
My the Holiday season bring you great joy
Linda
How wonderful ...! I will miss the white snow and the Xmas Markets. But you right, Linda. There is not cold in Hawaii. But if the temperature drops under 74°F this feels cold.
I wish you a wonderful Christmas Eve! Beautiful holidays and countless beautiful moments of love!
God bless you!
Aloha, Jenna
Good Morning Linda,
Here in the south of Spain, there will be no snow at least where I live. Behind Granada, there is the famous Sierra Nevada and that looks absolutely gorgeous when driving along the coast.
To be honest I love the look of snow but after living so many years in the south of Europe I do not like the cold.
Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske
Thanks Taetske for your visit. We think the same I like to look out on to it but not to be in it. My snow is much like your rain. Thought of you after seeing the picture.
Linda
It is indeed so beautiful! christmas without snow it is not Christmas spirit for me.
Wishing you all the best for a great festive season, and wonderful year.
Jacqueline
Two each their own Jacqueline I know some people do not like the snow. I hate to drive in, I don't like the cold, It ugly after the snow plough comes bye.I don't like skiing or snow boarding.and yes there is a lot more to the Spirit of Christmas.
But I love to see a fresh white snow fall while I am standing and looking out my window how it covers the grown and the trees making every thing look and feel like a wonderland. How it makes everything feel so clean.
It reminds me of the child I once was and the happiness I felt at Christmas time the elution of Christmas morning the Family gatherings at my grandparents home.
Wishing you all the best for a great festive season, and wonderful year Also
