Categories and Tags with New Posts?
Hey Everybody! Hope my WA friends are doing well!
I just added a new post on my site at http://fitnessforwomenover50.com/osteoarthritis-an... but I still feel very ambiguous about how to use categories and tags when posting. I hate to think I am leaving traffic on the table due to not understanding how to utilize thee tools.
I am also simultaneously working on my other fitness site (outside of WA) because it already has 10,000 visits a month and I need to monetize asap if you know what I mean. Since that one already has traffic I am hoping to get it affiliated soon and work my WA site as I go also.
Big downfall with this plan is I feel overwhelmed from trying to do so much all at once. So I stopped working at straightforwardfitness.com (which I am having to update about 50 pages) today long enough to came back to write a post for fitnessforwomenover50 because I don't want to drop either ball. But I feel like I've been neglecting WA. Sorry for that!
Anyways, any advice on the category and tag issues is greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a great Thursday, everyone!

I would focus on the other site most while some time still to WA. The dded benefit is the chance to create a backlink for both sites by putting a link on each site to the other site. Google, Yahoo and Bing look for Backlinks.
When you have that kind of visits per month, that is your priority to make it happen and part time on your site here. Also your other site can link into your new WA site for any traffic that has the interest in it.
Pretty much what I've been thinking, Travis! Thanks for the encouragement. It helps to know I am heading in the right direction. Just wish I could make it happen faster. But all in good time...right?
You have one of the most important things happening right now, you have traffic and its time for you to be the traffic police and guide them through.
Remember you MAIN duty is to your actually business, not to our community here. It's great to be active on here, but you have to keep the main thing the main thing. No apologies about not spending more time on here! That's actually just being wise, until you have more flexibility with time. Then you can commune more

Hi Linda!
Recently, I had a blog post on Tags and Cetgories. I hope you find it useful - WordPress Tags and Categories - Same Word for Both? All the success to you!
