What happened, everything has changed!

Last Update: November 03, 2020

Well I went off late afternoon because my granddaughter arrived with the baby and the teens would be back from school ready for snacks before being taken home.

Socialising done, tea/dinner cooked and eaten (chicken Korma mmm) cup of tea, waved granddaughter and family off home. All normal so far .....

Came back to work and Wow!!! It's all changed.

I am guessing ..... HOPING .......... this is part of the changes we have heard about. If so YAAAAY!!!!!!

If it's not..... my computer has a problem ..... BOOO!!!!

Anyway, despite not liking change (can be a bit of a dinosaur at times) this looks good..... well except for the left side as I am facing the screen that looks rather bare at the minute.

Overall I would say this is GOOD and EXCITING and can't wait to see what else happens.

What is coming next? Any ideas?

What do you thnink of it so far?

Hi Linda,

I like you at first was not too fond of the change. But now that I have had the chance to explore. I think it is easier to navigate now.

I too think, they need to change the empty space on the right side where the old menu was, lets see what other changes they have in store for us.

Anticipating great things to come,

Calvin

Hi Calvin it does look so much better now, I agree.
I thought that about the empty space until I looked at it on my phone.
The majority of people apparently surf the net on their phones which is why Google has changed more in favour of mobiles now. Websites have to look good on mobile or they lose rank.
WA is keeping us ahead of the game so we stay the best platform.

Haha, your headline and feature pic perfectly describes my initial reaction, lol!

Like you, I've been known to be a dinosaur in my approach too so, I decided a few months ago to actively become an "early adopter" - this is continuing to take some mindset work - but it's certainly helping me within WA right now.

I also started intermittent fasting yesterday, my schedule is eating between 10 am and 4 pm and fasting the rest. So, last night my time was the first time of fast and that's when I landed in the new look WA - really thought I was seeing things haha!

One of the reasons for fasting is to achieve a clearer mind, apparently, fasting helps your brain release proteins that are not good for your brain, hence the clarity as a result. I really did have my doubts for a bit, lol!

Let's do this "new look" WA and "undinosaur" ourselves together!

Blessings to you Linda

Thank you Louise. I can actually feel that you are buzzing with energy in your words, its great.
I have heard good things about fasting, both my son in laws do it intermittently as extol its virtues.
I occasionally do it accidentally by getting so involved in my work I forget about lunch. Does that count?
Good idea, we will do that. Embrace it all and see off the dinosaurs.

Hi Linda, I practice intermittent fasting 5 days a week. So, here’s the deal, skipping lunch counts if you haven’t eaten any food within the last twelve to sixteen hours. Remember stay hydrated with water or fresh juice and then skipping lunch counts.
#Love it!

Thank you for that Sharon, I have heard about it but not too much about how it works.

Forgetting to eat a meal absolutely does count, lol! So long as you are not breaking your fast by drinking anything with milk or sugar in it. Haha!
Yeah, there are loads of virtues accredited to fasting. A friend of mine was treated for breast cancer last year and since the end of her treatment she and her family fast in the evenings. They are all looking great and have more energy than before. I cannot wait to get to that stage, right now it is quite hard work to not enjoy an evening meal. Easier for me than skipping lunch though :-) And not having any dishes to clean at night is another big win!

Hi Sharon
I was wondering about the 5-day fasting - so I could do it Monday to Friday and loosen up for Saturday and Sunday?

Yes, and I noticed there is now another membership, premium Plus.

So we have 3 memberships now. That one caught me by surprise!

$99 / month... I know you are getting value but it's difficult enough getting referrals into Wealthy Affiliate on the FREE membership.

Now they are definitely going to be confused!!!

It's good to have more choices Mick as we have many at different levels.
As long as we guide them well they won't be confused hopefully.
We will help new people though the changes just as we help each other.

Okay, This is my profile and I am logged in to it but I did not write any of these posts.
When I went to my bookmarked dashboard it took me to a profile that wasn't mine and I could access all aspects of Mikolrr's profile.....You've screwed up royally this time WA!!!

Hi Pam, this is my blog I wrote a short time ago, lol.
There will be some hiccups with the new changes, that is normal and will soon settle down

It's grand. It is easy enough to navigate and everything is still here. What about you.

I like it.
Except I have just hit a hiccup. Everything has vanished around me and it tells me to log in. I click the log in button but nothing comes up.
I might just log off now and see what happens tomorrow, lol.

Clear your cache if you are getting that still, it should resolve your issues.
