The day I joined premium

Today is the day that I joined premium (and note to self: a year from now I must read this again, look back and reflect on this day.)

You know those butterflies you get in your stomach just before you click on the order button - they were there - moving around, having a blast.

The questions in my mind: am I making a mistake, must I go through with this......... I did my research, I did the starter courses, I know this can work.......but what if? I've got my websites, I've been working on them for almost three years now, what more can these people teach me? If I knew about this three years ago, everything would've been new and I wouldn't have those "say whaaat?" moments I've experienced so many times - I think then I might have joined easily - were it not for the few online money sharks (thieves, scammers) who caught me. - Let's face it - I'm sceptical about anyone telling me they can teach me to make money online - I don't trust them, they lie.

BUT.....

Here I got a different feeling, I feel like I will find out why I'm not really making money with my websites - definitely not by promoting the awesome products I'm an affiliate of.

Just yesterday I received an email from one of them telling me if I don't sell anything in November, they are going to remove me - and I love them and their products - but I don't sell anything - they're right. No one orders, they are right and my question - what am I doing wrong. Maybe you can tell me, take a look at this and tell me what is wrong: (yes, keep it honest, but try not to hurt my feelings too much, I'm sensitive)

Now here I must admit, I did not jump in blindly - I looked at allot of profiles here - probed some people's minds, looked at who has been premium members for a long time and who just joined. I searched out those long time premium members and tried my best to get them to say - no, don't join, you're going to waste your money - BUT, no-one did.

I looked for flaws in the system, looked for reasons not to join - but I couldn't find any.

As I was thinking about joining (for days since I started out here), I was thinking, but why do they have to charge so much, why must it be a monthly recurring thing? Aren't Kyle and Carson making enough money with affiliate marketing and that is why? Then I think again, but allot of work and costs went into this (and most probably still does) - that is why.

I mean that is why I could charge for my book too, because of the time I spent writing it, but I don't - why? Because I think if I charge for it, no-one will want it: (I mean 74 views = 6 sales - FREE book????? Huh???)

So, jip, I clicked on that button and as the premium members' privileges started loading....one by one....as they loaded, I started getting more and more excited, I know I made the right choice. I know here things are going to change for me. I know, because I know. I DIDN'T get that hot flushed feeling you get when you clicked on the button and you know - there goes my money, they just robbed me - now I must get it back (again). Aw snap, they caught me AGAIN.

So, now here I am premium. I am a hard worker and I know I can do this:

LOOKING UP!!! MOVING FORWARD

And to you, reading this - May you be BLESSED out of your socks!!

Linda thanks for the follow. I like your post and can identify. I forgot to put my socks on though. Hang in there. You are here now and have lots of support. Best of luck, Viv

Thanks for the follow, boy oh boy! Kyle and Carson are carrying a lot on their shoulders but we must not let them down, work hard and follow the training, the ball is in our court. Blessings.

Most definitely moving forward in the right direction. Here's to your success! Judy

Hi Linda, thanks for following me. I like your profile -- especially what you say about God!

I clicked on the link in your profile and read your review article about WA, "Best way to start to make money online." I couldn't find the banner you talked about in your article, so I wrote the following comment, which apparently was too long because it was disallowed by WP Anti-Spam:

"Twice in this article you say "click on the banner below," but I don't see a banner anywhere in the article or at the bottom. What banner are you talking about? What does it look like? What does it say? The only link in the article itself is the link to the review by Louie -- which, by the way, says "Healthy Affiliate," not "Wealthy Affiliate.". Then at the end of the article is "People Who Read This, also Read:" followed by a whole bunch of links. Then comes "Filed Under:" with another link, and "Tagged With:" with three links. Does one of these links go to Wealthy Affiliate? It seems like you should either say "click here" with a hot link taking the reader to the WA web site, or a link at the bottom of the article created on the words "Wealthy Affiliate.""

I clicked on the WP Anti-Spam link in hopes of finding out what the word limit is for comments, but all I got was a page of text in Mandarin -- or perhaps some other character-based language. It was irritating, to say the least, to not be able to find out what the word limit is for comments so that I could edit my comment down and get it to go through. Anyway, perhaps it's better that you not have the comment on your web site.

Two other quick comments:
(1) Write the book! I'd love to be one of the early reviewers.
(2) On your Shop pages, the headers and text run past the right-hand margins of the banners and are being cut off on my MacBook Pro laptop. Don't know if the same thing happens on PCs or if this is just a Mac display problem, but you might want to check it out in your WordPress editor and see if there's a different right margin for the text on those pages. Just thought you'd want to know...

Sorry this comment is so long!

Phil

Hi Phil, thank you, thank you and thank you again, that is what I was looking for, some fresh eyes, telling me exactly what I should fix.

I actually laughed when I saw that I wrote Healthy Affiliate and not wealthy affiliate, boy what a funny typo, it makes the whole thing mean something different. Is it good for your health or wealth.

I don't know how or where I'm going to fix the one of the with the size of the comments, but I've thought of removing comments from the site altogether (but then I start thinking I'm going to have to go through all the posts and change the "leave a comment below", but in the end it will probably be the best.

The part at people who read this also read are internal links to other related articles in my site, do you think I should remove it?

About the book, I've written it 3 times already, the first time I wrote it as a third person, then I thought no that's not going to work. The second one I lost when my computer crashed and I'm busy with the third one, but because of all the pain and hurt associated with it, I'll write for a day or two and then start crying so much that I just leave it again. But I'll try my best to finish it and let you know so that you can review it and see what changes I should make - I would appreciate that.

I will check out these things and fix the ones I can and find out how to fix the ones I don't know how to (yet).

Thank you once again.
Be Blessed

Hi Linda - No, don't remove the links to related articles. It's a good cross reference to other articles on the same topic or on related topics. If you could just add a link somewhere in your WA review to the WA URL, that would be cool.

I know what you mean about writing causing you to relive the heartache and then having to stop and give it a rest. When my parents and brother were killed in a plane crash, I was going through a major transition in my life (beginning an Air Force career and beginning pilot training), so I pushed all the emotions and feelings beneath the surface and just moved on. Then 40 years later when I began to write the story -- primarily for my kids, who by then were adults -- I realized I had never processed the grief. It was very traumatic. I've finished the basic story now, but my editor has suggested that I add how the writing itself impacted me. Looking inside, uncovering and writing about my own emotional journey is difficult and has me somewhat bogged down right now. But I'll get back to it and get through it after I get a little further along in the WA training.

All the best to you!

Phil

We can both review each other's books (although you've already got a editor - I don't) and cry allot. I'm one of those people who just watch a movie then I cry and as I was reading about your parents and brother I started to tear up already.
Let's say we're going to do this and take the bull by the horns. In 2016 our books will be out to make the rest of the world cry, what do you say?
Be Blessed
Linda
PS: I added WA URL's as well, just struggling to figure out why the shop pages is cutting off. (maybe I must remove it and restart, I changed my theme after I did the shop, maybe that has something to do with it)

A very good choice indeed Linda , will be very interesting to read about your success in your one year anniversary post. You will definitely of moved forward heaps.
Alexander

Thank you, I believe that too, looking up moving forward.

Hello! Some of the things you discus here I definitely have felt! I literally singed up at the last minute! It can be very nerve wrecking. Are you going to succeed? Who knows! But whether you succeed or not is up to you. This is your business you started it! It is you who can end it!

Good luck to you!
Cheers,
Francesca

Hi, Francesca. I'm so glad to see that I was not the only one going through these emotions. Thank you for sharing. Be Blessed

Congrats on going premium. Enjoy the benefit and good luck on your WA journey.

Thank you, since yesterday, I've already learned allot. It was definitely not a mistake to go premium. Be Blessed

Welcome to Premium, I have learned so much since going premium, you will absolutely love it. Good luck, Clare x

Thank you very much, Clare. Be blessed

My congratulations on going premium.

1. First off, follow the training, the main certification course and affiliate bootcamp.

2. Watch these webinars, they are very helpful 3. Focus on creating more content (the more content, the more traffic)

4. Focus on the keywords when creating content that bring people with a buying mind, not those that are looking for free stuff

5. Remember to add call to action phrases to your pages (not too pushy though)

6. This member can help you increase conversions on your most visited pages. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/faraz-ahmed

Thank you very much for all this valuable information.

you're welcome
