Be Happy

As of now, there is no doubt, we live in uncertain times. This pandemic affected the way people lived as well as their happiness. People seem to think that there is no reason to be happy.

Why is that?
In my opinion, the real reason why people are unhappy is -- we have been taught that happiness is dependent on our life's condition. We accepted that happiness is dependent on what we have in life. A big house, expensive cars, a lot of money, branded clothes and shoes, status quo, etc. Without these material possessions, some people tend to be unsatisfied and unhappy. They don't find happiness until things happen in their lives as they expected them to be. People need to realize that life is just like that.

We need to deal with every situation as we see fit. Not being happy with what you have today is delaying your happiness. Life will always have an empty shelf for WANTS. It may come in the future or may not. Who knows! One thing is for sure, when you pursue what you want, it will come in the future.

To be happy, make happiness a decision and not a dependency on WANTS. For some, this may be a little difficult to do, to begin with. People are used to being dependent on acquiring the things that make us happy. They tend to forget that there are so many things that make us happy during uncertainties.

Be happy and grateful to be alive and to continue seeing the beauty of life. Be happy that you have the health that keeps you moving, fit, and active. Be happy that you have a loving family and caring friends. Be happy that your roof over your head and food is on the table. Be happy about the little things as well as the great things in your life.

Allow yourself to be happy because you have only one life to enjoy.🥰
