Just got disapproved by two affiliate programs
I applied for two affilite programs.Guitar Center and Musicians Friend since these two are the best choices in my niche. I just got an e-mail telling me my application was disapproved.
This has left a bitter taste in my mouth because of how long I waited and the number of posts I have wriitten related to those sites. I may reapply later if I can but, now I'm just going to refocus and look for other choices. That's my only choice right now. :(

Happens, mate.
Don't worry too much.
I had the same happening to me. Now I am a partner of the company which refused me before. Getting Rejected As An Affiliate Partner - Try Again Later! I can have a look at your site if you want.

Thanks, Moritz.
My site is www.onlineguitarmastery.com
Still, have a lot of work to do on it but I will be very happy to get your input.
You definitely should change your front page to the blog roll.
Or put up a fleshed out page as front page.
Now, the front page looks quite empty.
Those guys might get a lot of people every day applying for their affiliate program.
When they go to your site and see an "empty" front page, they might not even look further.
Additionally, try to write posts that are a bit longer.
Some of them are already of a great length. Others are a bit short.
Other than that, keep doing what you are doing. If you haven't finished the training yet, do that, too!
Cheers

I will do that Asap. I've been putting it off for a while now but I will get on it right away.
And also I would like to ask, what are the advantages of longer posts. I always like to keep it short because I'm scared people might not stick around to read everything
Not everyone who comes to your site is in "buyer mode".
Many, if not most, are looking for information.
Always make sure that you give them as much information as possible.
If they don't get all the information they want, they will move on to another site and you have lost a potential customer.
So, if an article is too short, even if it gives all necessary information, they might have the feeling that there is more to it and will move on, too.
It is important that you don't fill your post with empty words, though, just to make it longer.
If you really can say that you have covered everything, then it's fine.
But if you think that there is more, add it!
Look at your posts with the eyes of a random visitor.
Additionally, give your readers an "early exit". For example a buy button or affiliate link after your first or second paragraph.
That's for the people who are already ready to buy the product.
Those might not like to read a long article, they just want to buy.
That way you cater to both types of visitors.
