Content creation is at the heart of your online business. But I don't have to tell you that many content creators have struggled to be recognized by Google.
Well, great news. Google is explicitly identifying people it understands to be content creators.

Trusted content creators versus websites. Topical authority, not broad. And focusing on the cross platform authority, from blogging, to video, to social presence.
All good stuff here, and this would also serve as a signal that Google is moving away from "forum" content eating up their search results, if they can find an alternative that is just as relevant, but from an actual content authority.
Quality content creators for the win!
On another note, we have noticed that certain content creators producing content here will rank immediately (within minutes) in Google, as they blog. Others won't. That is further validation that this is the direction that Google is heading.
Nice to see they are starting to recognize that true content creators do provide value. And as you mentioned not having the results from more often than not useless UGC filling up search.
