My Drawings And Paintings
Has that ever happened to you, a finished post just to be published and you delete it in a second? Arrgh, so nasty. So I'm doing this second time now.
Some of you were interested in my paintings so I'm gonna share a few more drawings and three paintings here.

And now the paintings. This is a painting of Keenu Reeves with dry brush technique
This is my oldest abstract painting, about 12 years old. It's not the best photograph, I have to say.
And here is my latest attempt to paint with acrylic colours:
I think you'll agree with me that I'm better at drawing than painting, won't you? I think I can capture the features of people or dogs better in the drawing.
I'm still thinking if I should create a website for my paintings, sometimes it takes me ages to make a decision. What do you think?

One word Lenka. Yes! I think it's a grand idea to create a site where you can showcase your work, and potentially generate a sale or two. But more, I think you could create an interesting community. I love your abstract, it's a style that appeals to me. As to your acrylic work, I see it as a diamond in the rough. Is that Junior with Cesar, or his other pitt Daddy?

Thank you Greg, I'm happy you like the pictures. It's Junior, but I had to have a look which one is which one :) I remember the dog on the photograph was grey so it must be Junior.
The website will be created for sure. I have to figure out everything about WooCommerce plugin and how to connect it with PayPal.
I thought it was Junior, Daddy was a little thicker thru the shoulders and a tad more muscular. Can't wait to see the site. Question: do you do caricatures?
I don't, Greg. But I can draw anyone's photograph realistically (however, not every photograph is good for that purpose).
I’m also an artist and painter. I love drawing and anything visual art. Yours are gorgeous! I think if you want to go the path of painting and selling art, then create a site for it and work at it. If you prefer to do it as a hobby, you can still create a site but you don’t have to be as disciplined about it.

I'm going to create a website to show my work but still have it as a hobby and another source of income if people like it and buy.

I didn't know you had that talent! I wish I could draw like you do. Truth is, I've always sucked at it lol.
Anyway, have you ever tried to pursue a career in art? Or maybe try to earn some revenue off of it?
Answering your question, I think it depends. How many websites do you currently have? I have two, and it's sometimes difficult to keep up.

would you believe that I never considered my drawing or painting so special to think of myself as of an artist? I always thought there are so many artists in the world and many of them studied art and who am I? But with all the praise I do believe now I can convert this hobby to something bigger.
I have 3 websites and only my first one, the 5 years old one, is making me some money. People can buy my e-book there and sometimes a new student e-mails me asking for skype lessons. The other two websites, well I consider them attempts and won't probably continue there. I don't enjoy writing as much as drawing and painting and I can't do everything.
Even one website is a lot to keep up, you're good to work on two sites. I'm sure it will pay off. Affiliate marketing works, it just takes time and you have to persist.
It's a special talent you've got there. There may be many people out there that draw, too, but we all have our unique style. With millions of people in the world, it's impossible not to face competition in any area lol.
The 5-year old website you mention, did you start it here on WA?
Personally, I love writing. What I don't like is the technical stuff: plugins, autoresponders, coding, etc. Not my cup of tea.
If you feel 3 sites is too much, then it might be a good idea to focus on just one or two max. And don't forget your drawing! You could do some leverage through Instagram and Pinterest since they're more visual than let's say, Facebook or Twitter.

Wow, you're skilled! I consider myself an artist. I am Deaf and I love the visual arts. My art is mostly in abstract paintings. I have not done anything with my art work for years due to decline in health.
Yes, absolutely create a website about your artwork. Even maybe sell it. I know its hard to make a decision about that. You're talented.
My late husband sold his artwork on some art sites like Red Bubble or Deviant Art. One thing he didn't like about that was the small fee they take out for commissions. He did not want to build a website so it was just easier for him to place his art work on those sites.
I love art and drawing. I used to sketch when I was younger and it was the way to express my feelings without saying anything! I love that. I agree with you, she could create a website and sell them if she wants using platforms such as Etsy.
