How do you manage doing everything?

There is so much to learn here on WA and so much to do to implement the trainings in our business. My question is: how do you manage doing all your daily tasks, job, family and everything and keep going?

I really admire people who have a good time management.

Me, I'm more of a dreamer, implementing things in practice takes me long time but I finally do. I know what has to be done. Eventually, I did create my first website in 2015 and all the things related to it. I can work with wordpress, facebook, instagram - but never understood the idea behind pinterest - hope there is still a chance for me :)

I'm a freelancer so the amount of work varies depending on the customers needs, some days I translate almost without a break, some days I have a few lessons and then there are days I have nothing to do (very rare though).

Being a member of WA for 2 weeks, I'm still amazed by the amount of information here and the comprehensive trainings. But I can't find a routine for myself to keep up continuously every day.

How do you, guys, do it?

Do you get up one hour earlier and work on your online business or trainings here and then do the other things you have to?

Or do you leave it for night time when it's quiet and noone disturbs you?

Do you make check lists?

There is an incredible bunch of people with brilliant ideas here so please share your experience.

With me i just do a bit everyday, i stop procrastinating and just started from lesson 1, i love your post its a good subject.

THank you!

One hour after I received your post regarding your problem. There was a possible solution that might answer some or perhaps all of your questions.

YumaBloggers created a post entitled "Getting You Blogging Organized". When clicked upon, an Excel spreadsheet opens up displaying a six day early morning to late afternoon.

Although he states its for bloggers, I'm certain that after you have examined it thoroughly. Ideas will start popping and action can move on from there.

Additional: Either logging your ideas on your computer or writing on paper like sticky notes will cement your success faster. You might also research something like "Time management" like bloggers and others who work on computers throughout the day.

Thanks for your insights Ryan. I'm gonna read the post of YumaBloggers and I hope it gives me some more ideas :)

I make a check list. I must say I'm still not great with time management. But I'm working on it.

Thank you! Well, we all have our issues :)

In fact, you manage your time wisely. Time management is not of a list of things to do, although it will help. This is perfect for people who are engaged in many things.
There are people who just respond to the most urgent and they are happy and fulfilled.
We are pressured when everything is given a deadline and I see affiliate marketing has no deadline, it is dependent on us and the things beyond our control. If we are doing our task let other things come accordingly to their time.

Yeah, I found out that it is more stressful for me to make lists of tasks because when I don't complete the tasks, I'm frustrated.
At the moment, I just try to do one thing a day, be it a training, a blog post, research, just something.

On the training, we are assigned task but we are not obliged to finish it at a certain time. Just take your time.

I know, it's only me who wants to have things done, no one else :) Well, patience is a virtue, have to work on it more!

Create pockets of time that you use for your business. I was completely overwhelmed when I started as I was in rehearsals for a gig. So I use an hour in the morning to answer and read blogs in our community. I time myself. Then head into my day. Meanwhile I'm mulling over what I've read and I choose a task for the day. Will it be a content post or WA? Or a lesson?

Decision made, I work out in my head what it will be about. Do I need to do research in the evening? I jot down some notes inbetween jobs.

I often work through ideas in my head when cooking dinner or walking the dogs. Cleaning the bathroom helps.😆

I've found I can't get a block of time to write, so I start it and save and go back to finish it. Usually late at night when everyone is in bed.

You will carve out bits of time Sophie. Make it work around your day but make it a regular priority so you see results.
Nibble away.

Hope this helps.

Lily 😊

I like your insights Lily! Thanks a lot!

Plan, put it on paper or computer. Schedule your time around what you have. Have an 8 hour job 1 hour commute, sleep 8 hours. Meals 2 hours, 2 hours quality family time, that leaves 4 hours to plan and do WA. So, plan this time carefully.

Use a task manager. Break down each task into doable sub-tasks

You can do this

Thanks for sharing, Joe. You are so efficient, unbelievable!

Thanks
Joe

I first started out writing down my daily tasks including work then built up a list?

I picked the jobs out that I knew I could do away with and timed them all, when I realised how much time I was wasting on certain habbits and jobs I could get help with (having a family member help with the kids) I got it sorted out asap.

I then freed up so much more time to work on the internet business everything fell into place naturally ☺

Thanks for sharing!
I know I'm wasting time with some things as well and have to sort it out :)

No problem. My thoughts are with you and I'm sure you will get there. best of luck to you :)

Well into planning 2020 already.

In the beginning the WA experience can be overwhelming. The thing can be to take bite size chunks as you can and build momentum from there.

Wi-Fi can become one of your best friends, we can engage when ever and where ever there is a connection.

You can not beat a good manageable list, especially if you are ticking off the tasks on it.

Thanks, Alex, yes, wi-fi can be a friend but also an enemy as if one is constantly online. Easy to get addicted to it :)
I know it takes time and adds up. I am ready to take my patience to the next level :)
And Iˇll have to start making a check list as well.
