Another Big Milestone Accomplished
Hey dear WA friends,
just want to share another exciting milestone with you. I've persuaded my boyfriend to show up in my last video. The picture you see above is the YouTube thumbnail.
As many of you know, I started making videos in the beginning of this year complementary to my health and beauty website (that is extremely hard to rank) and my first videos were just me sitting there talking. Boring :)
Then I thought it would be better to turn my articles to videos and started with that. My boyfriend likes video editing, unlike me, so he's been doing all the work with visuals and audio. My work is just to provide the script (usually one of my articles, slightly modified) and do the voice over.
In the last week's video we were both doing the voice over to break the monotony of just one person speaking. And now I've convinced him that it would be more entertaining for the audience if we were both there, at least for a part of it.
This video is about coffee alternatives, actually about my favorite drinks like cocoa etc. My boyfriend is a coffee lover and he makes jokes there. It was fun but also a lot of work.
I'm excited about my blogging and video journey. It might take a long time to break through but it's definitely worth it.
If you are thinking about starting a YouTube channel, go for it! It's much easier to appear in the search results with generic keywords than in google. It can perfectly complement your website and bring you more traffic!

Video SEO has been done using VidIQ.
Video editing software: Filmora Wondershare.

Cassi, I'm still a beginner regarding strategy, I have to learn a lot from you and others who have their strategy planned wisely. I know it's absolutely necessary but it's my Achille's heel.

My boyfriend is also a coffee lover, Isaiah, I'd say a coffee addict! :) Yeah, we were shooting the beginning of the video with an i-phone and then the short videos are from libraries.

Thanks for sharing your resource on this post Lenka and congrats on your successful video post in YT. I've always wanted to try but too shy in front of camera. Maybe I'll just do a voice over. I don't know yet but as I learned here, I am finding out that I have to focus on one thing first.
I understand, Rey, many people are shy to speak in front of camera. I used to be more introvert when I was younger but with age I just care less and less what other people think about me.
But not everyone has to make videos.
Just focus on your website and time will show.
