Trust me, I know how this feels. Sometimes, I lose interest for weeks and then I get a surge of energy and go all at it. The thing is, if you don't do anything, than you will remain in the same position you are. Even 30 minutes a day or 2 hours every few days can make a huge difference.

I know how you feel. Sometimes you just got to walk away a day or two and regain your focus. I have a handyman service and do part time apartment maintenance. Some days, I am wiped out by the time my day ends. I treat my time at wealthy affiliate and my websites as a part time business. I try and dedicate a few night hours per day, for building my business or making comments on other peoples sites. I try to help other people by answering questions they have here on wealthy affiliate. Then there is some evenings I re-read certification lessons to get a better understanding of what i'm doing here. It all takes time. "Rome wasn't built in a day". Patience and time will get you closer to your achieving your goals. Just don't stay focused on one area too long, you got too mix it up. If your getting bored or losing forcus in one area, just spend some time helping other people get better at what their doing. Just hang in their, mix it up and if you cant see the light at the end of the tunnel, maybe this isn't for you? Only you can answer that question. Good luck

It is challenging to balance it all! I totally get that! And, when you work all day, it is tough to want to come home and work on this, especially when you are tired from your day. So, schedule time for this and for fun! Pick two days a week when you can work on this. It's surprising what you can do with 6 hours of focused time! Then, spend the other 3 working days doing fun stuff. Then, pick one time during the weekend that you will work on this stuff again. Then, go have fun the rest of the weekend!

You can do this. I think of this as a means to an end. I don't want to work for other people any more! The more sites I can get going and making money, the more likely I can become independent of others!

I know how you feel. I know you don't want to quit because you asked for help, that says something about your character right there.

I just watched Joel on Sunday, and he talked about being the boss of you.

He said that we have to follow our spirit and not our flesh desires. Our flesh wants this and that now. Just like that party you want to go to or watching TV or relaxing, whatever it maybe or even acting on emotions.

If we follow our spirits, it builds our character. I understand we have these days. If you don't continue on your journey, you may not complete what you set out to do.

I know that's not you! Keep going even if you have to force yourself. That's how you get it done!

Life does get in the way sometimes. You have to decide what it is that you really want. You do not have to give up your life to do the studies and work here... just a little part of it.

Try to set aside an hour each day to just get into the training and do the tasks. Most of the time you can do a lesson in an hour or a little over. If you have more than an hour then of course you can do that but it seems that you are afraid that if you do the work here then you won't have a life outside of here.

Some people do get caught up in working so hard that they forget to have a life. But that does not have to be the case. Consider just why it is that you would like to do affiliate marketing in the first place. For most people it is time and money freedom. How hard you work and how fast you progress is totally up to you.
