Yoast seo
Im not sure how many are using Yoast SEO but I love it. Not only does it help you with your keywords, SEO Title and Meta tags. Tonight I learned a whole new part of it.
It shows you an overview of all your posts. Before tonight I had 3 posts with BAD SEO scores, and 80 without a focus word. I have been working all day to fix all these issues. I have updated the posts and have had over 600 new viewers today. Are you sure you have remembered to enter ALL your SEO info into every post?Recent Comments

I have a landing site for my blog and preinstall with Yoast and it give more info and stat.
Good info.
I have a confession to make.
I use "All-in-One SEO Pack" instead of Yoast.
Don't hate me!
Haha, but seriously, the plugin doesn't matter. The content does. We get nearly 100k visitors a month from solid content. Heck, we don't even configure the settings of our SEO plugins... Woops!
I changed back from Yoast (premium) to All-in-One SEO (free) as have some other members and we are now seeing much better ranking results, lots of page 2-3 listings going to page 1.
As Joost the owner of Yoast has stated, "no SEO plugin makes more than 10% difference to your results", as Wordpress in itself is now very SEO friendly. Yoast however is actually one of the worst performers in regard to getting you a higher ranking in search engine results.
It's incredibly popular because of the interactive feedback, but this is really nothing more than ticking an automated checklist that you could easily do yourself from a sheet of paper.
In fact, there are far better tools for on-page seo analysis than Yoast for ensuring that your text is formatted and optimised to get the very best search engine results (especially as Yoast have moved many features from the free to the paid version). For example, Web Text Tool https://app.webtexttool.com/#/register-free
I also like that it checks the readability of your post. It taught me about passive word sentences and the use of transition words.
That's great you got that fixed. I have one question, have you created a filter in your Google Analytics to block your clicks when you work on your pages.
That may be why your traffic is high. :)
Basically, you are just going to create a filter that blocks your IP address.

Your welcome. I did the same thing you did working on my website. It just seemed funny to me to have my traffic jump up that high.
We learn new tricks every day. Lol
Thanks, for the tip, Elwin! I just used Stephanie's training on this at: Excluding your IP Address from Google Analytics .
She did a great step-by-step. Very clear and informative!

Laurie, you are having much better results with Yoast versus All In One? Perhaps you should show everyone a how-to training lesson for best results. Thank you for sharing.
