Wealthy Affiliate Premium Plus: Christmas before Black Friday!
Why, Thank You @Kyle and @Carson ... for our early Christmas presents!
How thoughtful of you.
I upgraded yesterday to Premium Plus and awoke to all these goodies!
How the Premium Plus Free Trial Works
Just a quick note to let you know how the free trial works if you want to give Premium Plus a test-run before you start paying monthly (or yearly).
When you click on Upgrade to Premium Plus you will be taken to a page where you can sign up for Premium plus for $0 for the next 10 days.
You can choose how you will pay on the 14th November - via credit card or PayPal - so don't get a fright when you get directed to your PayPal or bank account to "make payment" ... because the "payment" will be $0 for now.
This is just to set up the monthly payments from now on (and of course, you can cancel before your first payment goes off).
What happens to the old Black Friday Deal?
For the last 3 years I've paid annually for Premium membership by taking up Wealthy Affiiate's Black Friday deal.
By upgrading to Premium Plus this payment of $299 that was due on 27th November automatically falls away.
This means I'm left with a payment of only $99 a month... if I remain on the monthly option.
However, I am strongly considering upgrading to yearly in time to secure the $200 discount.
This works out to $66.25 a month ($795 divided by 12) for all the extra features and I'm guessing, knowing Kyle and Carson that I will be grandfathered into Premium Plus at that rate - meaning next year and the year after and the year after, I'll also retain the $200 discount annually.
Super stoked about it all.
Is Premium Plus Worth it?
I figure it's worth it for access to Jaaxy Enterprise alone because I really like Jaaxy... having said that, I wasn't planning to upgrade to Enterprise so I won't be sure until I test it.
I've tried out Ubersuggest, Semrush and Ahrefs but Jaaxy is still my go-to for Keyword research and SiteRank and I find it easier to use.
The expert training classes will come in handy too. I am constantly buying online courses to upskill, the more training I can get right here, the better - it will save me a ton of money.
I'm about to do my first Premium Plus training, Kyle's Fundamentals of Copywriting.
I'm currently only paying $24.92 for Premium membership (on the $299 Black Friday deal and I'm grandfathered in at that price) and Premium may be enough for me.
Once I've taken the time to test all the features and benefitst of Premium Plus I'll know for sure.
What happens if I want to go back to Premium?
It looks pretty simple. On the subscription settings page, there's a button to downgrade to Premium. I'll just make sure I click that button before my first billing date.

Thanks a mill, Jeffrey! Not sure if you popped on before or after I updated this post. Just did a major edit.
I looked again, but when you do the trial of premium plus, do you lose the grandfathered price of your premium?
Jeff
Thanks so much, Linda, still in the testing phase - just added a bunch more info to my post. :)
Thank you Lauren. I'll try because from the price-wise standpoint it looks a no-brainer.
And now some doubts have arise, reading your comms. Anyway, I'll be reading a lot about is to make my decision in the next few days.
Thank you for sharing and congratulations in your upgrade.
Felix.
Aah, happy my thoughts on Premium Plus were helpful to you Felix. What did you decide in the end? Did you also upgrade?
Unfortunately no this time Lauren. Money troubles by now. I'll fix this and will take it asap. Keep up with the good job.
