Should I Promote Wealthy Affiliate Now or Later?

Lesson 5 of Affiliate Bootcamp “How Do You Promote WA in Person”...many of the members are not sure as to what to do. This was my conclusion based on the comments I’ve read. Yes, I spent part of my day reading through them instead of “taking time off” from the lessons and doing a bit of “house cleaning” of my website and playing “catch-up”. Anyways, I gave it some thought as I was scrolling through the comments and here’s my take. The first thing I saw was this...

Listen, I totally see what most are saying and feeling. How could they share something if they don’t know how it works or IF it works. They don’t know if they will make money or not. I get it, I understand.

Let me be clear and a bit blunt here...I need you to understand. It IS working and you will soon see what I mean. But first let me say, it's not so much about making money at this point, rather, it's about you sharing what you have done and learned thus far. Bare with me, those that were sitting on the fence about sharing, think about this...You just acquired several skills. You have learned and developed:

- A new mindset.

- You learned how to build a website

- You know and understand what SEO, keyword search, blogging is, and their purpose...to gain Authority status in the online world. Meaning people will look to YOU for solutions - you now have their TRUST. Because of that trust...

- You are building a "following" which leads to...

- "Social networking". You learned how to communicate with others by commenting on their post. Giving tips, suggestions. Just think about it. How many times has Kyle said, "join the discussion", "leave a comment"? Well, he's actually setting you up to build a habit of doing the same thing on your website(s) (post/pages). Genius! Right? You're getting your targeted audience involved with YOU. You are learning what makes them tick and offering help.

- You're learning "social media marketing" (WA Affiliate Bootcamp) so that you can start making money as you continue to learn how to build your website(s)...earn as you learn. Again, Genius! Right?

- You've learned how to write (create) interesting, motivational, inspirational material

Are you starting to see the "Bigger Picture"

- You have just learned how to take YOUR PASSION and TURNED IT INTO A BUSINESS

(This is what you are sharing when you are promoting WA)

Just like with your job, current or past, you must learn it their way...you get trained to be proficient in your daily task and in turn...YOU GET PAID. Right?

No different here..(well, actually there is ;)... you set your own destination, you cap your own earnings, set your own hours...etc etc etc.) You are being trained proficiently here at WA so that you can get paid, over and over and OVER but this time, as time goes by, less effort is required of you, hence "RESIDUAL INCOME". Before you know it, your income is on autopilot.

This is my motto...Build it Once and Watch it Grow

I don't know about you, but when you REALLY think about what you have accomplished and learned on a daily basis (or in each lesson) or the amount of training that you're ACTUALLY getting by PARTICIPATING in various assignments, discussions and so forth and so on, here at WA and how much you have grown with each step. That within itself warrants a shout out to the world....."hey look at what I'm doing and accomplishing! You could be doing this too! Let me show you how!"

Do you realize that you have made more progress in such a short period of time than the average person that ventured out on their own to learn what we're learning? If you have no experience and lack of resources or knowledge as to where to find half of what's needed to successfully build an online business, it would take approx 2-4 months, if not more to build a decent website. Or you could pay someone anywhere from a couple of hundreds of dollars to a few thousands of dollars to get your website built. But the negative about having someone else build and manage your website is, do you know and understand what they are doing? Are they doing it right (getting you ranked, getting you traffic)? Is what you're paying them worth what they're doing? How would you know if you were getting scammed or not? How would you know if you do know not know nor understand what it is that they are doing?...Naw I'm good! As of a matter of fact, I'm one of those that ventured out on my own....no bueno. I mean I learned a heck of a lot but it was still SO MUCH MORE to learn. Furthermore, I was not in a financial position to pay someone oodles and oodles of dollars to build my site nor did I trust anyone to do so. I didn’t know what I didn’t know, plain and simple.

At least now we know, understand what we're doing and doing what benefits us and our individual businesses! And the best part….Without going broke!

Furthermore, know this, there are people out there that's, "Been there, done that". They can and will attest to this and claim, I wished I had heard of this (WA) before I did all of that and wasted all of this. Guess what, your response could be, "and you still can. But this time much quicker, with guidance, thorough step-by-step instructions and with a HUGE community that's cheering and rooting for you EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!"

For those that were struggling with rather or not to promote WA now or later, I hope this helped. But if you ask me, my opinion, YES! Let people know what you have to offer (especially if it solves a problem). Share with them what you have accomplished, especially if they know you, know your situation, your experience, or lack thereof. You will come across people that just plain-ol “get it” and won’t even hesitate to jump on board. You will also come across those that will say “No” and that’s ok. Why? They will see a change or changes in you. They will see your business grow and wonder what you are doing or remember and have that aha moment. And as many members mentioned, money WILL come. That could be your "follow-up", your "Progress report or update" for those “nay-sayers” and “unbelievers”. Besides, these follow-up (blogs) will give you another post opportunity to stay in front of your audience to prove once again why they should follow you and/or reminding them as to why they are following you in the first place…TRUST. Your followers are watching you every step of the way. This is EXACTLY what this whole program and ALL the lessons are about. Building and Expanding. Building and expanding your business, your "following", your customer base, your e-mail list, your social networking skills, your social media platforms, and social media marketing skills, your trust and authority status and last but not least, your foundation...YOUR WEBSITE! Because without your website, none of this is possible. Again, Build it Once and Watch it Grow!
