Gaining ground through sheer desperation!

So here I go. Recently I have been going through the motions here at WA, in that I mean following the training, responding to requests for feedback or comments, reading new and old blogs, hunting down and reading success stories here at WA. Wow some of them are so impressive! Impressive enough to make me think....hmmm I could never be that successful...even if I accidentally rank on the first page of google. Now don't get me wrong, I'm trying to do just that. I'm just about a solid two months into my second website, yes I dumped my first the second week in. I hadn't the confidence I needed in my chosen niche.

I would in this case settle for even mediocrity. I'm talking about modest success. Nothing earth shatttering, nothing front page forbes magazine, just an average guy attaining average success through his choice of online business attempt.

I will not lie to you here, it's wierd ok? I mean I trust this process.... I've read enough to know that MANY of us felt the same way. Also like me, many of us really felt deep down inside, that this was going to end up just being another disappointment. Or even another embarrassing failure ( if like me you were a little to quick to share your initial excitement hope and faith that youde finally found a way to totally redeem yourself in your own eyes. Or the eyes of your family, children, friends, or even society in general.

No one said to themselves as a child, "when I grow up I'm going to be a HUGE failure"

At least the children I grew up around anyway. Nor myself. Honestly I never gave it a moments thought. You know why? Because I trusted that I was going to be, and become EXACTLY whom I was meant to be!!!
Right now I can honestly say yo you I have become that person. Am I completely comfortable with who I have become? No. I am my worst critic. I should not be allowed to make that assessment. Because it's detrimental to my mental health. My judgement of myself and others has always been " not good enough" ALWAYS room for improvement.

I wonder if somehow my remains or a part of me were to end up fossilized if the person who found the fossilized me would look at the artifact that was me and ask themselves "gee I wonder if this homosapian erectus thought he were "good enough"? I can assure anyone that's lucky enough to find a scrap of me a million years from now that no I never thought I was good enough.

As I mentioned earlier, I am comfortable with whom I've become through antics, education

(self-taught). Or life taught. Can we say masters degree in the school of hard knocks?

Not complaining. Just the facts. Lol reminds me of Joe Erskine.... "Just the facts man', just the facts". You'll age yourself if you remember who erskine was! Lol

So now if your still here with me you may be saying the same thing I'm saying. Where are you going with all of this Larry? Heck I don't know either. I was just hoping to hold you captive for a few moments and get your mind off of your own travails. For if I have managed that? I have brought you some small relief from that that troubles you. Which oddly enough relieves me of some of my own burden.

Look I've managed almost six hundred words and haven't even said anything about what I set out to say here, I mean the meaning of why I was going to blog at all..,,, so strange. And miracle of all miracles. Now I'm not even going to talk about what I meant to get of my chest and get filleted for being such a noob.

Ha ha whomever was poised to bring the ol'gavel down upon me..,, you'll have to patiently wait for another opportunity when I'm a little more focused and put something abit closer to the heart here. Then you can smash me!!! Lol

And on that totally sensible note ( to me anyways) I will bud you sensible people ado'. As Kyle says so well.... "and without further ado"
