How I was forced to retire due to an injury, and how I found WA the same day?!

THE DAY I WAS FORCED TO RETIRE FROM TEACHING!

It simply happened this quickly. Five minutes into teaching a technology class, and I went to take the smallest step, and my left knee basically just crumbled! What was not noticed, was that the classroom teacher, who I always made stay to be taught as well, had walked out and called my Corporate Manager.

The next thing that I knew, an entire team of Professional Staff from the School Board that I had been working for, for SEVERAL years, knocking at my classroom door. They asked me to go and have an immediate meeting, and I knew exactly what was about to happen, and I understood that liability was a big issue at that point.

So, a long story short, it was decided that I would be forced to be on a long-term medical leave, which I knew wasn't going to end; because I had already had 11 reconstructive surgeries on my other knee; so basically my left knee joint gave out from favoring my really bad right knee for close to 20yrs.

Now, They left with one single question; What am I going to do with myself so that I literally don't go stir crazy! So that day, I spent the entire day, pricing domains, and instruction that went with this; so basically Wealthy Affiliate had that "something" that was the full package, with no scams, and a good rating on the net. I had almost given up for the day, when I came across Wealthy Affiliate! The name itself intrigued me! So I kept reading, and watching videos, and out of All the web hosting sites/platforms out there, myself being a very technical person, knew that Wealthy Affiliate was definitely something that caught my eye, and it was something that had my name on it already, and I decided right then and there, that this was the one to be involved in, and here I am now!

I started out as a free member, and created a basic website, and then I started reading the blogs. This is what made me join as a Premium Member, and then straight to a Yearly Member. In the blogs, there was NO competition and/or secrets; everyone was helping each other, which you really don't see this every day. It was an amazing community of Individuals who wanted to start his/her own online business venture. The Owners, Kyle and Carson were 2 young guys, likely around my age or maybe even younger, but they had developed an excellent platform that covered basically everything that had my name on it already, and I decided right then and there, that this was the one to learn, as I initially joined up for educational purposes, but I soon realized after watching Kyle's Instruction, and doing the lessons, that I could easily become successful at some point in the future.

This was NOT a get-rich-quick scam, Wealthy Affiliate was the REAL THING!!! No gimmicks or cons, or hidden fees; what was there was exactly that in every aspect!

I never expected to ever be making websites for Affiliate Marketing Purposes, and/or Services, but here I am, almost done the 4th level of training, and I am at Page:1, Position:1 for my respective niche! was this in only 3 months, and I have been keeping that number 1 position in www.google.com by the way that I have been writing my posts. My goal was not want to come across as some guy pushing product on everyone, and have a website cluttered with Ads!!! had my name on it already, and I decided right then and there, that this was the one something professional, respectable and reachable, and that is all due to Kyle and Carson, and the entire community here at Wealthy Affiliate!

I cannot thank everyone enough for being so friendly, and Kyle and Carson's Lesson's being straight-up, and to the point, allowing for very little confusion.

They a Teacher, and I went to University for Computer Engineering and Psychology, and then I went to College for Law, and a 3.5yr College Computer Engineering Program, because had my name on it already, and I decided right then and there, that this was the one the hands-on training, along with the theory. I have a lot of education, but Computer Engineering isn't Web Design, or Social Media, or Blogging, etc.

If I can remember correctly, I think that I want maybe 450,000 in the WA Ranking, and in 3 months, I am now at 1300. So, I just want to say to All the Individuals who are totally new to Wealthy Affiliate, and I am certainly still new as well; but I just want to say, that if you treat this as a part of your daily routine, there is more than enough room for success and a lot of money to be made!
