So I've listened to Kyle and deleted my website...is there a way you can get a job from doing this W

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I read the blog that Kyle posted about focusing on one niche and making your niche specific...well I have my travel niche as well as promoting my website for WA. Yesterday I deleted my website for WA and just focusing now on travel for Florida and Caribbeans.

I haven't made one cent from affiliate sites from linkshare commission junction etc. I want to delete any affiliation from them simple because I was promoting a site from linkshare and I called myself to see how the program worked as I was trying to help a family member with travel package. To my surprise the company wasn't planning to compensate me for using the link from linkshare as they are no longer doing the program since a year ago. I'm only going to see programs from my hosting travel company as I know that's a sure thing and I will not have any additional surprises.

I'm frustrated because I'm currently unemployed and need to continue working in order to accomplish my goals. But honestly I'm tired of the administrative assistant role that anyone can do for lower pay. That's why I want to know can anyone work for a company after learning what they did here at WA - I'm not ready to do a company on my own as I think is more complex - what do you think?

I need ideas and for those who have been there please help!

You can do do it,just believe in it!!Go for it!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all your support and Christian thanks for PM me those links. This is such a wonderful supportive community!

either you would get a role working in a narrow part of what is taught here, or you will need to flesh out what you are doing here so that you have more to offer.
The main aspects that are transferable to the market place are content/seo marketing...including social media.
Sorry to hear that you have hit a sticky patch. Good luck resolving it, Andy

I'm trying hard to just spread my wings n fly!!

it is scary especially when you have the added pressure of bills coming in, work out what you need to live on etc, perhaps a part time job and then gives you time to work on your site and build things up

That sounds like a plan

why not see what good travel companies are around and if they have affiliate programs , perhaps you can offer some sort of training or get a position as a virtual assistant whilst you develop your site

That's what I currently have...need to implement a good strategy to promote locally! I guess im scared and not sure what to do.

I think all the lessons we have learned here would help you get a job. What about keyword searches for customers on Fiverr for money?

Not a bad idea...I would look into this. Thanks Karyskis!

Ha! Maybe I'll hire you to send me a list of keywords ;)

Wouldn't that be great! Scratching each others back ;)

Not sure. I haven't given it any thought since I'm in it for the long haul. You may be able to design webpages for people as many here have done.

Hi,

i like that niche :-)

what you can do:
