Newer first but sometimes some of our older posts can be amazing as well :) be nice if you could number them and then put them in any order you wanted depending on the time of year, season etc.

Newer on the top, I think this would be normal, just like posts in the blog roll.

Newer first enhances the currency of content and so empowers it further.

BTW, how do we change from newer to older or from older to newer?

I prefer newest first because to me it shows how relevant the article is. Some articles don't have a date on them but a way to tell how old or new it is, is by looking at the dates on the comments (assuming there are some).

But I don't think it matters from a ranking perspective.
