Negativity From Peers?
Okay, I'm sure a lot of you have gone through this exact thing I am going through right now.
I'm all excited, you know, building my website, putting in hours of work for just one simple menu to look nice! I start to tell some of my friends my plan, my goals of what I really want to get out of this, only to find that they aren't being very supportive at all.... Wait, what?
It's kind of mind-boggling to see the negativity coming from them, "Oh it's a scam!" "It will never work!" I even told my "favorite" teacher about my plan and how my idea could ACTUALLY work! Legit! Next thing I know my sister comes up to me later in the day while I was working on my website and she says that the teacher was making fun of me. At how, "Gullible! He is for falling for a scam." Then I got to wondering Why? I could just stop right now, I've only spent $20 on the membership and I could go back to living normal life. It might not even work anyhow.
But then I remembered you.
All of the people who have supported me, even on my FIRST DAY!! I hadn't even started yet and my email was blowing up with wishes of good luck and fortune. I don't even KNOW YOU! I've read all of the motivation stories about how the one year mark is a serious turning point in their website and I can tell you that I will make it to that point in time with a successful website. All made possible....

It's quite astounding how negative family and friends can be. If only they realised that with their support and encouragement that 1 year turn around point would probably be reduced to 3 months.
Its a lonely kind of life but when you start making sales the friends will all be clambering over you to show them how.
Keep plugging away and teach the teacher a lesson in life!
I will definitely keep working. As long as it takes!! I have the rest of my life to prove that I can succeed online and by putting in the effort now I will eventually be able to accomplish that. Thank you for your wise words and encouragement!

People are weird creatures and so many of them love their comfort zones so much, they would rather sit on broken springs on there comfy couch, than actually make changes to live greater lives.
your teacher has a teachers mindset- hey good on her/him and you can tell your friends and others but until they see how you really are seeing success, there is no point my friend

Sorry to hear that you have gone through this negativity too. I have been with WA now for over 11 months and only recently started seeing success with my website.
Everybody in my family were also negative, especially my dad and sometimes my husband, although the hubby was a little more supportive and saw the potential of this business when I showed him the success stories within the platform.
I showed my dad the small successes I have started having and now, he believes a little more in what I'm doing with my website.
So don't worry. I'm sure we all go through it at some point. Don't let what they say bring you down. 13 years of success stories at WA cannot be fake! The only way to fail is to give up.
The problem is that we are all formed to somehow live by the standards of society; and that's going to school, to college, getting a job and paying off our school debt, get settled, work until we're 65 and retire.
But what they don't understand is that the conventional job is not enough anymore, not with the current rate of inflation. We have to look out for ourselves and creating such a legacy is the way to do it.
It's up to us to prove the others wrong. Keep Strong!!!

Absolutely! It is heartbreaking that they dont understand even when we explain it to them.
But no matter how much we explain, they wont believe until they see results. So work on it quietly and when you start seeing results, you can tell them that you had been working on it and here are the results. 😊
