Why Did My Payment to Wealthy Affiliate Fail?

In the current state of the Internet and online payment processing, failed payments and payments not going through, do happen. This is not always your fault and within this post I want to show you how to correct any payment issues.

Some of you may notice that a header like this shows up within your profile....

This means that a payment to rebill your membership has failed and this can happen for many different reasons.

Reason #1: Your Credit Card Has Insufficient Funds or Has Expired

The most common reason is that you could have a credit card or payment method that either has insufficient funds or has expired. You can update your credit card details and make a payment for your failed billing here:

Reason #2: Your Credit Card Has Blocked Payments

This can happen on occasion, your credit card company may all of a sudden block online payments or international payments (we are located in Canada). This happens all the time and has happened to me several times over the past year alone as credit cards try to lock down against any chance of fraud online.

If your card has adequate funds, then you will want to contact your credit card company and let them know that you want to process the next payment from Wealthy Affiliate (and that it is international if you are not located in Canada).

If you have any issues with your payments and you continue to see these issues, please let us know and we can help you work with it. We attempt all payments 3 times (allow for 3 failed payments) before your membership is cut-off.

If this does happen, you will be able to resubscribe and reconnect your membership without issue, so no need to panic there as well.

So once more. My payment is true paypal and somehow did not go true. Credit card is ok and also paypal is ok 2 pay other stuff. and I did not delete recurring payment 2 you so it's still up. The link that tells me 2 fix my paypal stuff is useless 4 me on this. So Can we resolve this or just let it go? Any one?

I'm confused. I looked at my account there and they do have a payment due to y'all on the 7th. The only thing I can figure out is that the initial payment to y'all was made on the 7th of March and they used that date as the due date this month. I don't know how to change it, but I will see what I can do. I figure you do all of your billing at the same time so I'm sure this would be an inconvenience to you. Anyway, i'LL do my best to fix it.

Your first payment was made on March 3rd, but wasn't processed until March 7th because it was an echeck. The next payment was due April 3rd, but we will give you several tries if the first payment is skipped.

hello is anyone going to do any customer service. I don't need a computer generated Email I need an invoice so that My bank and I can set up a regular payment plan. Please send invoice to charleslafleur01@gmail.com or charleslafleur60@gmail.com this is beginning to become frustrating

I've ask for a invoice so that I can get a direct pay set up for my account I've ask you to send it to my gmail account and I haven't received it as of yet; but that doesn't surprise me because it's the same thing when I ask for help with a problem. Your real good about sending your generated emails; but those are computer generated and that's OK. Now to my point SEND ME AN INVOICE SO I CAN PAY YOU FOR WHAT I AM RECEIVING MY OWN DOMAIN and classes!!!!!!!!! I'll write off the personalized help and just figure this out myself I know nothing is ever what it seems to be so I'm not disappointed; it's more of a trust issue now and I'm not sure you know about that maybe you do; but on the other hand I would rather you not have access to my bank account. Here's my word send me what I've requested and I'll send you your payment and I'll do this for a year month to month or till I see it working and when I'm done I'll give that to you in writing and maybe in that time frame we can rebuild some trust.

I'm not sure what happened: but I'm going to my bank to find out. I'll also set up a direct pay so this does not happen again please send me a bill via my e-mail address with all the information to set up direct bill pay. my apologies. Please get this information to me quickly so I may address this rapidly. thank you

Hey, it seems that you have issue to make a payment. I will like to have exact date in which the payment it will be done each month then I will arrange with my bank. Otherwise please provide me with a link where I can make a deposit each month because I love outside Canada, I think this last option is the best. I don't want to have any issue with my subscription. My bank is really careful with internet fraud and I like that. When my account is inactive then they put the money in my intern and even if I have funds no one can withdraw it. Hope to have positive answer. Thanks.

Yep, I am dirt broke. But I will be back soon! I'm still in my starving artist phase, literally. But I will continue to write content for my art and about my art life. Hopefully, I will start to see some traffic. Hopefully, I will be making money off my art soon!

I am sorry about the problem, I thought my payment came out on the 17th, its the 11 and the weekend, cant check my card until monday, I imagine they took there fees and left me just short! If that is the case I wont have the funds until 15 which wednesday, I love this place! Please hold off until then and I can Fix this!

It says the payment is March 3rd in PayPay but the funds are there and have been since I originally received the notification. The lady I talked to didn't give me the correct information and I couldn't find in my account where she came up with the 27 of Feb?. It could be moved up for today and tomorrow or the 3rd of March whatever works for WA.

Hi Kyle,
I have already paid my $19.00 and was charged fine. I called paypal, nothing is blocked. I am planning to buy my own domain anytime because i am still with site.rubix. Pls go ahead and charge me for my monthly dues. My funding source is fine and I have saved it at paypal. so, pls. go ahead. If something is wrong, then i really don't know what to do with it anymore.
