Weekly Challenge: Why Not Me?
Hey Fam,
Every successful person you see online (or even here in the community) had a starting point in their journey. This also means...
No traffic.
No sales.
No authority.
Just a beginning.
And yet… they made it happen. They created significant success.
So this week’s challenge is simple, but powerful: Ask yourself “Why not me?”
What You Need to Do:
- Think of one successful person in your space (it could be someone in this community, a blogger you admire, a YouTuber, or an entrepreneur you follow).
- Write down 3 reasons why there’s no reason you cannot achieve the same level of success.
- Post in the comments:
- Who you chose
- The 3 reasons you believe “Why not me?”
- What step you’re going to take this week to move toward that level of success
Optional: Share a screenshot, image, or even a short video if you want to make it more personal (Premium & Premium Plus+ members only).
🏆 The Prize:
Top 5 most liked entries will each receive $50 in value:
- 💰 $25 Cash Credits
- ⚡ $25 in AI Credits
📅 Key Details:
- Open to ALL members: Starter, Premium, and Premium Plus+
- Challenge Dates: Wednesday, August 27 – Tuesday, September 2, 2025
- Post your response early to give it time to gather likes!
Why This Challenge?
Because success is not reserved for “other people.”
Because belief is the foundation of every breakthrough.
Because when you flip the question from “Why me?” to “Why not me?”, you start giving yourself permission to succeed.
You are capable of brilliant things, and it "can be you"!

Hi WA fams
I always feel there's something more to my life so I was always looking forward for more when I see someone doing great things, things that I'm interested in I always think that could be me because I know I have the potential so why not me to be honestly right now,as I'm typing this community is my Motivation and inspiration right now at this moment I was down and looking for way out I pray for away God show me a sign and honestly I ran into this community and i feel so comfortable in this community I feel more motivated more inspired. So I would say this Community
God is good, all the time. I also prayed for a legit path to success and found WA 11 years ago.
Hi, Dwayne.
The community here is very good and helpful. Many have made a huge success in the world of online business. So to look up to some of them is a great thing.
What I would say is this; take inspiration from those here that have been successful. Follow their steps, which are included in the training, and never give in.
Don't put pressure on yourself to achieve fast success but instead have blind faith that it will work out in the end if you take daily action and steps along the way.
Don't be disheartened.
Good luck.
I can relate to this because 12 years ago I was looking for a way to earn income for the future after retiring from my then career of 25 years. So I prayed.
I believe in the power of prayer and as I said in my response below, Jeff Bezos of Amazon who is only one year younger than me, became my inspiration.
I firmly believe that God answered my prayers and guided me to Wealthy Affiliate. I still remain a happy long-time member and will never leave the WA community.
Hi WA Family 👋
There was a time when I honestly thought I couldn’t do this anymore. I kept telling myself WA was for people smarter than me, not for someone like me. I felt ready to give up.
Then I met Richard Brecknock here at WA—the person I truly look up to. He stepped in, offered his help with my website, and gave me the encouragement I needed. With his guidance, tips, and support since 2023, I realized I could keep going—and I’ve been updating and improving my site step by step.
Looking back now, I’m so thankful I didn’t give up. If Richard hadn’t been there to help me through those tough moments, I probably would have quit. Instead, I’ve discovered how much I love what I do, and I’m making real progress.
So if you ever feel like this journey is too much—don’t give up. With the right support, you can surprise yourself with how far you’ll go.

After some thought, I figured "Why not enter the why not me challenge"!
So, without waisting more time.....
The person I look up to is Eric Worre. I follow him on Facebook, and even got invited to one of his Go-Pro events. The way he speaks, the way his words stick — that’s something I’ve carried with me in my own journey.
So why not me?
1) Resilience. I’ve been through the highs and lows of this business, just like anyone else here. And yet, I’m still here, still building, still showing up. That resilience is what keeps me moving forward.
2) Multi-tasking. I’ll admit, I probably keep myself too busy at times — but I’ve learned to juggle multiple things at once, and somehow that fuels me. Between park operations, content creation, and affiliate marketing, I’ve figured out how to keep going even when it feels like there’s too much on my plate.
3) Determination. I don’t want to give up — plain and simple. I like what I do, I enjoy affiliate marketing, and I know there are windows of opportunity here that we’ve all been taught inside WA. That determination is what keeps me pushing even when life throws curveballs.
My step this week: After the long weekend, I’m getting back on track with my 90-day challenge. That means carving out more focused time to double down on the things I haven’t touched enough this summer.
At the end of the day, if Eric can create lasting impact with his words and persistence — then why not me?
Man, I wish I was in this sooner but better late than never.
This one’s tough for me… because I look up to two great men.
Louis L’Amour wrote from bunkhouses, hotel rooms, and the road.
Stephen King wrote Carrie in a trailer and almost gave up.
Both started with nothing just grit, rejection, and a pen.
If they could build legacies from motel rooms and hard jobs…
Why not me?
3 reasons why not me?
I write from truck stops and hotel beds, just like they did.
My books, brand, and Pinterest (1M+ views!) are already growing.
I never quit, I build this dream between long-haul shifts and late nights.
This week’s move:
Launch a free book promo, test new ads, and write the next chapter from the road.
“Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration. The rest of us just get up and go to work.” Stephen King
They started with nothing. So did I. And I’m still going.
Why not me?
Have to be in to win otherwise it's definitely "Why not me" 😉
My pick is Eric aka Batman
Always there when I need him
Can find answers and insights to 90% of my queries
A pleasure watching/reading his simple, precise, training videos, vlogs, replies and blogs
Cheers
Michelle 🐅

Why Not Me?
Every time I see opportunities pass by, one question echoes in my mind: “Why not me?”
So many people join challenges, compete, and win rewards. They step forward with courage, determination, and belief in themselves. And I’ve come to realize that the only thing standing between me and my own success is the willingness to take action.
This week at Wealthy Affiliate, there’s a weekly challenge. I looked at it and thought, “Somebody will win this. Someone’s hard work will be recognized. Someone will stand out. So, why not me?”
It’s easy to doubt ourselves, to think we’re not ready, not experienced enough, or not capable of shining among others. But the truth is, every winner once started as a beginner. Every achiever once had the same doubts. What set them apart was that they dared to say, “Why not me?”—and then backed it up with effort.
This challenge is more than just about winning something. For me, it’s about building confidence, stretching myself, and proving that I have what it takes to show up consistently. Even if I don’t win this time, the courage to step in already makes me a winner.
But still, I believe I can win. I believe that if others can, I can too. And so I keep asking myself with boldness and hope:
“Why not me?”
