Very good! It takes time and a goal or several goals along the way. I'm starting my 6th month and a couple weeks ago I got my 100th article published. So far 57 have been indexed. Takes time and effort and there are several ways to go about someone's sight. I set a goal to get 100 articles by 6 months and did get to that goal. If it would have taken another month that would be good also. So quiting isn't the way of course if not reaching your goal at a certain time. My traffic has been increasing every month more and more. So now I'm looking to go about getting youtube is my next goal and learn about how to get that on my sight and so on. The class duscusions are always helpful.
Thanks for the post Kyle, it just feels awesome to be back in the community. I have tried and failed many times for various reasons. My main issues have always been niche selection, as it always seems to me that the niches that I am interested in are completely saturated and so what's the point! I know this is not the correct way of looking at it and I'm hoping that with the WA community support I will accomplish my goals in 2023!
Thanks again and great to be back!

This vlog gives me inspiration and hope. I've been at this for three years now and I still have to see a sale that will tell me "wow, you can really do this." People usually write that it will take between 6 months to a year to see money coming in, but it has been 3 years for me and those words (from those people, not your words) ;-) have often discouraged me, made me wonder what I was doing wrong. This vlog is actually encouraging me to keep going.
Well I would suggest that you have actively been working at something for 3 years, and have yet to make income you are focusing on too many things at once, or not being consistent enough with your focus.
What is your current focus in terms of your online business? How much time and what are you doing in terms of active productivity on a weekly basis to grow your business?
I was very focused in my first two years, I was very consistent then, in those first two years. Then, I left my day job and was very focused on making it as a freelancer and that's when I gave my websites less attention.
My current focus - and my life's dream - is to get my books noticed via my website (I am an author, I've been writing books since I was 6).
I am only now giving it more time again. I need to set up a schedule again, like I used to do.
Absolutely correct. Had I stuck with YouTube videos I was making back 10-12 years ago, I would be a guru, and sitting on a goldmine. People have since come along and far surpassed me. Now, I'm on the tail end, trying to catch up. I suck my teeth, just about every time I think about it. But, I'm better. I'm taking action now. Can't cry over spilled milk.
Yeah, that is the thing...now you know what you can do to achieve significant success...stick with it, and give yourself adequate time and effort. That is the thing, if you give yourself a year, let alone 5 within the online business world you are going to be able to accomplish big things!

I thought this was amazing! I’m not sure why but this just made things click for me as too why I haven’t succeeded at so many things. I guess I never really stopped long enough to realize the true reason I failed. I can think back at countless different things I’ve said I was going to try, bought the coarse, and for one reason or another I didn’t complete it but in my mind when I thought about it I found something little and chose to use that reason for me not completing it. You know when I was young and into my teenage years, I didn’t ever quit anything (it wasn’t in my vocabulary) I would complete a task and try to be the best out of any and everyone else who’d also done it! I really appreciate this short video Kyle. I’m going to try and capture the mindset I had when I was young, before I let the weight of the world pile on top of me. Thanks
Really glad you enjoyed this Kristi, the reality is that most people simply stop short of their success. There is that old meme floating around with the guy digging for gold that gives up ONE dig before he reaches the gold and turns around.
I can only imagine how many people have quit just prior to achieving results over the years...people that might have had a lifetime of success within the online world.
