SNEAK PEEK - Free Websites Coming to WA!
Evolution does not stop here at WA and next week we are going to be unveiling free (yes, FREE) websites here at WA.
This is going to be powerful for both newcomers on the 10 day trial and powerful to long time members that have been with us for years.
Free domains is going to mean different things to different folks and we see them being used in many different ways, but they are going to lead to a much better experience here at WA and far more success than ever.
All of your free domains will look like this:
yourdomain.siterubix.com
For example, if I wanted to create a website in the “iPhone 5 cases” niche, I could create the following domain if I wanted:
iphone5cases.siterubix.com (this is a test site I created)
This is going to be installed on our state-of-the-art hosting platform and it is going to be using the exact same Wordpress Express builder that you have all come to know and love!
As a member on the 10 day trial you are going to have the ability to create 2 free websites, Premium members are going to have access to UNLIMITED free websites!
More information on this system coming Monday. We are just finishing up on a few things in the test environment and it will be unveiled early next week!
PS. This is just the start of MORE AWESOMENESS we have coming to WA. Unbelievable changes slated for the entire rest of year and moving into 2013 I think those of you that are Premium members are going to feel like this is the only home if you want to learn Internet Business! :)

What a great idea and addition to WA. I think it will really help the people just starting out and could be a great way to test new domains/sites.

I agree. There are many uses beyond "getting started" and testing new sites and we will be have many discussion on the different benefits and as the system evolves, there will be many opportunities deriving out of the free website system.
I was JUST thinking the other day that it would be good to have an alternative to blogspot etc for review sites, since blogger doesn't let you use plugins such as amazon link normalizer and many other useful ones. You guys provide the answer yet again!
Yeah, it is going to work out very well. Full version of Wordpress, the same as the other Wordpress Express sites, only it will be on the siterubix.com domain. Coming soon!!
I am thinking product review sites without buying tons of domains =) I have to hand it to you guys, you never stop making this place better.
Yeah, you already can now but this will allow you to do so without having to invest right away in your own domain. Eventually everyone should want to have their own domain but when starting out it sometimes make things easier to just get something up (that is still 100% useful and functional) without the initial investment (which to many can be viewed as a risk).
This is a great idea. Thanks for all of your innovation. I do have a few questions. I am sure they will be answered on Monday when the program is launched. I am looking at your example test site with the name iphone5cases.siterubix.com. Does this mean because you have a subdomain called iphone5cases I will not be able to have a subdomain in siterubix called iphone5cases? I think this is a great way to test new sites. Will I be able to use all of the Word Press plugins so I can export the content from a xxx.siterubix.com site and import it into my www.xxxx.com site? Willl there be limitations to the number of images, videos that can be stored in a subdomain.siterubix site? Thanks again Kyle for always being on the cutting edge. It makes being a member of WA exciting. We can increase our knowledge and skills of the internet marketing business.
All of these are going to be covered with the roll out of the system. But yeah, these will be fully functional WP installs meaning you can import and export, install plugins and themes, etc. If someone already has iphone5cases.siterubix.com as is the case here, someone else will not be able to have this domain.
This is going to be the first iteration of the system but we have a lot of awesome evolutions that will be taking place to support different uses of the free domains and the ease the transfers of going from a free website to your own domain.
As far as SEO, marketing, etc., is there any value or disadvantage to a subdomain over a top domain?
Sub domains can definitely rank and SiteRubix has some very good "domain age" going for it within the search engines. We are going to be working to improve mapping abilities so that Google will be able to find new SiteRubix domains.
There is always and advantage to owning your OWN domain as you have full control and ownership over this, but the free websites at SiteRubix are going to serve many people in many different ways and these include SEO, PPC campaigns, wordpress training, testing campaigns, local business campaigns, selling websites, and getting indexed and monetizing sites.

Being new to IM I can definitely see the huge advantage this will give me in getting content up and running conveniently and quickly. Seeing progress and accomplishment brings a big psychological advantage that helps keep the enthusiasm generating. The quicker and easier we can get something tangible in operation the better for those of us just getting started in affiliate marketing. This new evolution will really help.
