Affiliate Bootcamp, My Personal Results Thus Far
It was my goal to teach as many folks as I could through "showing" them, instead of telling them. This I have always believed to be the most effective approach in terms of learning and by looking over my should and seeing exactly what I am doing, I knew it would lead others to achieve the same sort of success.
I started with nothing. No website. No content. Not extra advertising budget.
I chose a domain, WaystoAvoidScamsOnline.com and I was off.
So what has happened since and what sort of traffic am I experiencing from my efforts thus far?
OK, let's start with the content. I have been busy operating a business and although I have definitely dedicated some time to working on my website content, it definitely has not been built out as quick as I would have liked. However, one thing has remained a constant. Every page, post and comment (that I respond to) on my website is created with quality in mind and I spend most of my time focusing on whether or not the reader will be interested in my content.
I have no created a single backlink. I have also not done any sort of other "SEO" strategy. I simply research the odd keyword and spend time creating quality content, whether it be a review, a rant, or help with a particular process.
I have 8 published pages, and 19 published posts. So in total, I have created 27 posts or around one post or page every 3 or 4 days.
So not a ton of content, but I have let it trickle in quite consistently. In other words, I don't let a week go by without updating my content.
I really do try to be prompt with my comment responses as well and elaborate on every response. This is only a good thing for your website, your rankings, and the trust you can create within your website.
So that is what I have done with my content. Exactly as I have shown folks that have worked through the bootcamp.
What About My Website Traffic?
This regular content has cumulatively lead to growth in my traffic, and to prove this I am going to show you exactly what my traffic charts look like.
Here is my chart on April 8th, when I added Google Anlaytics. You can see, 1 visit (which was probably me). But after this, the traffic only started to grow.
By mid May, I was seeing my traffic spike and Google rolled out one of their most significant updates which hammer "spam" content within their search engines, giving me a big boost again which you will see in the following graph.
Currently this website is getting anywhere from 1,000 - 1,400 clicks per day. NOT BAD!!!
And here is where it gets AWESOME!
So I have created 27 pages of content in total, how many keywords do you think I am ranked under. If you are new to world of SEO you would probably guess 27 right...but you would be very, very wrong.
Here is a look at a keyword report that will indicate exactly how many keywords I am ranked under:
442 keyword rankings in Google. These are all keywords that I am getting traffic from, I am likely ranked under 1,000's of keywords (some of which obviously don't get searched). So by naturally writing content and creating content in attempt to engage other people, help people, and inform people I have ranked under 442 terms.
That is typical and that is what happens when you dedicate yourself to the Affiliate Bootcamp.
This is 3 months of dedication to a project and this is the type of success if you take action on the Affiliate Bootcamp and work through every phase. No, you might not achieve this same sort of success in this amount of time but absolutely you can achieve this level of success with some dedication. If you are interested in taking part in this niche and following through the bootcamp, click the Affiliate Bootcamp within the menu and START TAKING ACTION.
I have GIVEN you my exact roadmap thus far, 4 completed phases...with the 5th Phase coming on Monday June 24th and more exciting phases to come after that.

Kyle: This is wonderful what you are doing for all of us members here. Being a complete newbie I find the Bootcamp just what I need. It is a slow steep learning process for me,
but I will continue to I get the learning done and successful.
The one thing that I find that the Wordpress(at least for me) the hardest to grasp. I have been having loads of problems getting my content to look right after put in. Your members here have been helpful in sending suggestions on what I may be doing wrong. They sent me some good suggestion last night, and you also sent me the suggestion that maybe I should just type it all it the WP site itself.
Don't know if I will get too much done today, watching the three little ones again. Let you know how happy I am to be here with you and WA.
I really need this, too physical hard for me to continue nursing, need another source of income.
Sincerely,
Being slow is fine. It is better to be slow and understand and be realistic about the process of creating online business success then to try to whip through everything and not take action on the training.
The first time for anything is a bit awkward, but as you move through the training you are going to look back and really realize how skilled you are becoming. Once you understand the process of creating a business as I teach within the bootcamp, you are going to understand the "formula" for website success that can be replicated in any niche. ;)
How important are lists of known clients to number of sales ? List building some others call it are the keys to being an ongoing business ? TIA, charles
I have not implemented any of this yet, but this will be part of the training down the road. If done right, it can lead to more conversions. If done incorrectly, it can detract from conversions.
Thank you for sharing this Kyle and engaging was a problem for me before I joined the A.B. Thx 4 your attention to detail and hard work.Personally,I think it's very important to feel connected to the reader and that's the impression you give me.
Absolutely, be real with your audience and encourage them to join in and you will get much better results. Also, be thorough. Take the approach that you want people to feel informed after reading your content...you don't want them leaving your website to "find out more information'.
I have a feeling Kyle's reply to Nathaniell was a back handed swipe at my comment but I learned one thing many years age and that is how to develop thick skin
No, not at all. Every achieve success at different rates, my next 100 articles may not produce what my first 27 have, but I can assure you that I have one thing in focus, engaging my audience with quality content. I know if I do this, my success will grow in a cumulative way.
Wow. That's amazing! I can't say I've enjoyed the same results. I have about 110 posts, 30 pages, plus 130 YouTube videos and have yet to crack 100 visitors per day. Whoops! I hope to see results improve so will continue to work on it.
I am amazed at the amount of content you have on your site particularly the 130 YouTube videos which to me seems to be somewhat of an overkill. What advantage does that result in? Kyle has thousands visiting his site with 8 pages and 19 posts so to me it is hard to reconcile . I am able to look at Kyle's site but can't do any comparison as you do not appear to have any sites showing in your profile.
I have chosen not to show my site within WA, but you are right that there is a large difference between Kyle's and my own results. Obviously, the content is different so will rank for different things, and I started in Feb (before the bootcamp here started).
I'm just wondering how other people are doing as well, as far as traffic goes. That's why I started by sharing my own numbers, and I'm hoping to see how other people are doing.
Don't worry Nathaniell, keep focusing on your website content and the quality of that content. Don't try to write focusing on a specific word limit, take as many words as you need to get your point across within the article. If you look at my content, you will notice some of my pages are 500-600 words whereas other pages are 2,000+ words.
Also, engage, engage, engage. If you are not creating a conversation on your content, you are not creating something worth of talking about and sharing. That should be an immediate focus going forward. If you are getting consistent traffic, that should be viewed as an accomplishment, regardless of whether or not it stacks up to mine just yet. :)
True, true. I would not say that word count is a focus of mine, and the only reason I mention the number of posts/pages was to compare with your results.
But I have very little engagement on my site, which I know is a problem. It's a tough nut to crack for me, as I'm just not sure how to get people to comment!
Traffic is getting better, so I certainly cannot complain! It's just a little disappointing to see that with less work, someone has achieved more results. I know it's not 'black and white' like that - just being self critical I guess.
Still, it's awesome to see what you've achieved, and good to know that there's always something more amazing to strive for :)
You can get there. When you are choosing your keywords, focus on terms that people will look for. Product names + Review type keywords are very readily available and can drive huge levels of traffic to your site. With the case study site that Kyle has used for the bootcamp, the content is awesome, it's informative, and it attracts folks who are looking for reviews of products and services out there.
I'd rather see fewer 1000+ word articles with active comments than 100's of smaller articles that do not attract folks to comment or engage. As people engage on your site, this also creates more content and gives your site a major boost in the SERPS. Google loves pages that are active and that are being updated regularly. Once an article is written, the job is not done! You can add to it, add follow-ups within the comments, and entice your visitors to comment. Always get back to REAL people who comment because it supercharges your SEO with all that fresh content!
With this site we've exposed absolutely every step of creating it. Soon this site will be getting 2000 or 3000 clicks per day and be truly an authority in the industry. A couple articles a week is all it takes to get there!
Excellent to see Kyle. The more bootcamp success stories out there, the more action people will take
Yeah, there definitely are more and more success stories sprouting up. I said right from the get go, if you take action and you follow my lead, you will see results and long term results. This is not a 30 day thing, this is something that I am going to be building out for months and perhaps years and the bootcamp is going to coincide with this.
There are going to be many folks with FULL TIME businesses as a result of bootcamp, I don't have any doubt about that.
The success stories from those who are working through Bootcamp are going to become a regular thing. We're already seeing traffic and sales from many folks who just a few months ago did not even have websites. Anyone who is diligent and follows the Bootcamp courses is going to see results after just a few short months. It's truly some of our best training ever!
Kyle, what a wonderful post and update. Truly inspiring. I have been taking bootcamp, but have not been as diligent as I had hoped to be, with my offline business consuming so much of my time. However, I can only imagine how busy your schedule is with WA, Jaaxy and your other obligations, yet you have proven that you don't have to give 24/7 to one project to have success. I started bootcamp with you, we both have had the same 3 months to work our sites, regrettably I have imposed limiting beliefs upon my self and efforts by feeling guilty about not doing something every single day thereby only leading to procrastination. With this post I see now that I have only been making excuses, and weak ones at that, I don't have to give it everything every single day, I only have to give what I can, consistently, be it one day a week, or more, Cumulative is the key word for this lesson. We all have the same 24 hours a day to work with, it's just a matter of how we use it. Thank you again for sharing your results, I am once again pumped and have a new vision for my own goals. Congrats on your amazing results.
Exactly, very cumulative and the content that you create now may not really pay off until months down the road. Some will pay off right away, but not only is your traffic cumulative, your authority is, your brand is, and your revenue is. ;)
I wanted to comment on this because you bring up a very good point. To really achieve success, you do not need to work 15 hours a day. You simply need to be smart about using your time because we all don't have enough of it!
With this website Kyle's been able to spend an hour here, and an hour there on the site. He spends quite a bit of time writing the articles so that they are helpful, informative, and engage the audience. As Kyle mentioned in the post, not a week goes by without updating the site and adding to it, but this does not mean he's adding to it daily.
So, for everyone out there who only has a handful of hours a week to spend on their business, these kinds of results will happen if you simply follow the training and focus your time on your website.
Carson
Being one of the people that was drawn to WA by your website I know how effective it is.
I have learned a great deal in a short time at WA but I don't think I am ready to take on another project just yet, maybe later.
Retain your focus, the bootcamp is not going anywhere and it will be there whenever you are ready to go through it.
The bootcamp will be there when ou are ready to take on another project, so keep it in your back pocket for a while! One of the great things about the Bootcamp training is that it is truly step-by-step and from Day 1, every step to creating the case study website is exposed!

Wow, Kyle ~ This is great information. I have one question though. You mentioned...
"So by naturally writing content and creating content in attempt to engage other people, help people, and inform people I have ranked under 442 terms."
Where did you find the keywords you ranked under?
Thank you much!
Your WA Fan!
These are stats from Google Analytics under Traffic Sources, Keywords. :)
