Tuesday Motivation

Happy Tuesday WA Community.

I was just thinking of something that gave me much-needed motivation today. I was giving motivation at work, and I remember that it really helps to give other people motivation even if you don't feel motivated yourself. You never know who you will inspire. The funny thing is I dreaded today, and mainly because it was my turn to motivate, I just felt like I didn't want to talk much let alone have a full 10 minutes trying to inspire others.

I then remembered, years back that I read the Blue Oceans Strategy book by Renee Mauborgne and W. Chan Kim and it completely changed my perspective about life and business. I began my motivation about how we as a company could try new ways of adding value to our customers and creating opportunities for ourselves/business. I explained the whole concept and I linked it to our line of business and by the end of it all everyone including myself was inspired. The team not only suggested we buy the books for the office, but also find ways to innovate and add value to our customers by having weekly brainstorming session.

This whole experience reminded me, that we are all able and capable if we allow ourselves to inspire others. I love the concept of Blue Ocean Strategies that encourages companies/individuals to move out of saturated /competitive markets, and create new markets for themselves or business in order to thrive and succeed. The framework and tools can also be applied to life that whenever you find yourself stuck in life, career, relationship, you can always shift your mindset, create new solutions instead of simply giving up, or dwelling in a routine.

We are all capable of achieving our dreams, only if you have the resilience and passion to see them through. It may take time for you to see the result but don't give, continue with the training, work on your niche and website and one day you will see the results.
