Hello my good friends at WA!

I hope all is well with each of you this Sunday morning.

I have been busy as a bee, to say the least, but that is a good thing, especially when I share what it is I've been busy doing.

If you've read my previous posts about the custom screen printing machine screens I began manufacturing and selling in my business about a month ago, then this post is an update on what has happened since my last post.

If you haven't seen my previous posts, here are links to them in succession:

I mentioned in the most recent update that I had placed my screens for sale on both eBay and Etsy, and saw almost immediate interest and results.

Last Monday, (the 24th) I had someone contact me through my Etsy post, stating that he wanted to purchase 10 of my screens, but wanted to know if I would offer a bulk order discount, since he is Canadian and the shipping costs quoted by Etsy were "outrageous!"

I told him I'd be happy to offer a bulk price, and that I believed I could get a better shipping price using a discount shipping website a friend had told me about only days prior to this, (another sign of things falling into place just in time and in accordance with my goals and objectives). Using that site, (Pirate Ship) I was able to provide my new customer with 5 different shipping quotes, and only the most expensive option, (which offered the most protection, etc.) was just $19 more than what he'd stated he'd be willing to pay, the other 4 options were much less.

He was happy with this and even recommended a way that I could offer his discount without having to change the regular price of my screens or having to contact Etsy to ask how to offer a bulk discount to customers.

The customer, (who also has a site on Etsy where he's producing and selling products) recommended that I just create a new listing on Etsy for the 10 screens with the bulk price, and with only 1 available, my customer will buy that one offer, which will eliminate that single listing once purchased. I thought this was a great idea, and is exactly what I intend to do.

However, with the completion of this latest sale, I will have sold half of the frames that I originally ordered, (and will be ordering more within the next few days, as they take about a month for the company to produce for me) and I had depleted my supply of the mesh fabric that I make the screens with.

I quickly ordered more mesh when I saw that sales of my screen were exceeding my expectations. I couldn't produce any additional screens until this supply of mesh arrived, which it came yesterday, earlier than scheduled, much to my relief.

Thus, I'll be pumping out screens today and the rest of the week after working my weekday job. But this sale is confirmed, the customer agreed to the shipping quotes I provided and even thanked me for doing so.

Not only will this be my biggest order thus far, but it will also be my first international sale of any of my products!

In addition, I've continued to have interested parties favoriting my item or placing it in their cart, etc. This definitely indicates interest, and probably means they intend to return and make a purchase at some point.

I can't express how elated I am, and grateful as well, about these recent developments. As I mentioned above, all of this has happened within the space of about a month.

I finally completed a new article on my niche website about this new product and set up affiliate links to my product. I have yet to get an affiliate link sale of my product, but I suspect it will happen at some point.

I also wanted to state that I can tie ALL of my recent success to my membership and involvement here at WA.

Let me explain what I mean by that.

It's true that teaching myself to refurbish my own screen printing screens over the years taught me what I needed to know to take this next step in producing my own line of professional screens.

Nevertheless, the fact remains that had I not become a member of WA, and chosen my niche, and began building my website, I don't think I'd have made the connection to start manufacturing and selling these screens without my membership here and the training I've been going through.

In other words, had I not been working to accomplish new goals and objectives in my WA training, I likely wouldn't have seen this golden opportunity, even though it was there as an option all along. I would have been blind to it, so to speak, without the motivation and mindset I've developed in being a WA member and going through the training.

These are the kind of paradigm shifts we tend to experience when we focus intently on a very desired outcome, and our subconscious mind begins to align itself with our desired goals, opening up new ideas, options or paths that we were not likely to receive, (or recognize if we did receive them) before aligning our subconscious with our goals through intense interest and desire!

My sincere hope is for the continued success of everyone here in WA, and I just wanted to share what's been happening on my WA journey and my feelings gratitude and excitement, in the hopes that doing so may help to inspire and motivate others here.

Thank you for reading and for making any comments or suggestions you may have. I wish you all the best success and happiness!

Kevin

Congratulations Kevin! I have been following up your progress! Its amazing how fast everything happened for you.

I like how you associated your success with a statement, "Had I not been a member of WA, this will all happen...."

Thank you for sharing your progress and inspiring us of your successful developments!

Cheers,
Maria🌹

That is fantastic news to hear Kevin and you have every right to feel elated!

I remember you saying at the beginning of this endeavour you were a little unsure how it would pan out...

But... it seems to be panning out very well!

All the very best for your continued success my friend!

Yes, I'm so grateful and excited. It does seem to be going well, and it feels good to know that my hunch was correct. Thank you.

That is great Kevin and you're most welcome my friend!

Very well done, Kevin! I am so excited for you that this is taking off. This is what I m trying to do regarding my book sales. I came here to WA for the Excellent Hosting and Site Support. Everything else here, as far as I am concerned, is total gravy!

I have the opportunity to pursue anything else I want to, and when I want too! It is the total package!

Jeff

Thanks Jeffrey. I appreciate your excitement on my behalf. I'm getting great responses so far, and it's all because of what I've been doing with WA. I love it here! 😂

You're very welcome, Kevin! It is amazing, isn't it? WA is the best!

Jeff

Kevin, it sounds like you’re going to be pretty busy. You have such a remarkable talent for building those printing screens.

I am familiar with them as I worked for a business a long time ago in Fargo, North Dakota, called Custom Graphics, (its still there today) it was a small business, that focuses on businesses that needs decals for John Deere, Case tractors. Bobcats, snowmobiles, business signs, and all related to a brick and mortar company.

What I didnt like was the constant smells of chemicals and paint. My job was to do quality control. But the chemicals often made me 🤢. I had vertigo spells, migraines, and sinus problems. I didn't last very long there. The hours were long and pay was so low. I had to quit. Im glad I did. I found a better job later.

I find it interesting that you can custom design your own and sell them thats a great talent to have.

Thanks for sharing the success of making sales!

Haha, thank you! And thank you for sharing your experience. Indeed, I do have chemicals to deal with in my process. The glue I use is basically high-grade super glue, and if you've ever used that stuff up close, you know it can burn the eyes and sinuses, so I have to keep a distance from it, and it's a very delicate process. One little muscle twitch or whatever while I'm gluing and the whole screen could be messed up. I am getting better at the process though the more I do it. I've found better methods for things, such as coming up with a template for cutting my mesh pieces in order to minimize waste and simplify my process.

I have been out in my shop working on them this morning. I have a break now while the latest one dries. Thank you again for your comments and support. 😊

That's a great story. Here's one other thought that comes to mind:

Luck Favors the Well-Prepared

You were ready to have this success. You had the merchandise, you had shipping options, you had your Etsy account.

Congrats!

Thank you 😊
