Two weeks later after Joining WA.
I am at Ultimate traffic training (Level 2) How to speed up your rankings.
Now I have brain overload.
Too many articles to write.
Wrote one for HubPage and was no cleared, This is the main part of the reply.
"Heads up! It looks like your Hub is not cleared for publication because it did not pass the Quality Assessment Process. No need to fret; every new Hubber goes through Boot Camp, and all you need to do is improve the Hub so that it meets our quality standards. To graduate from Boot Camp, you must publish at least five Featured Hubs."
Not feeling like writing 5 hubs, so have joined Yahoo Voices, now that is a challenge also may write on another subject and see what happens.
In the mean while, I have joined 3 Social Bookmarks programs to Get Back-links, have done one, still 2 to go.
What I am trying to achieve by writing this blog is.
1. Is my website up to scratch for getting results.
I have followed the lessons, all are done to this point, but only what I have been writing, I did add one image and a little bit of color to the homepage to make it a little more appealing.
2. Clear the brain, as I do not really know what to do.
Any comments could be very helpful for me.

I personally would not fret so much about writing articles at this point. If you remember, Kyle mentioned that our sites should have at least 10 posts per "theme" page, which would make 30 total. At that point, then you can focus more attention on articles. Personally, I recommend Street Articles anyway. If you want another place besides HubPages, you could try Yahoo! voices.
I would focus on the content of your website before you go too crazy over external articles. You may even want to take the article you wrote for HubPages, which was denied, and add it as a post for your website. That would be one more out of the way.
I just joined literally two days ago, and I can see myself doing this as a full income. Imagine it, stay positive and remained determined.
Take care,
Matt
Kiwinana, you are doing great for two weeks! Take a walk outside, just chill or do nothing. When our brain is on overload, this is really okay, it is just time to recharge.
When you get back, jot down or record three important, reachable goals and make a list of the others. Doing things in smaller sets of three is more manageable.
Also, make a check list for each step on creating a website while it is fresh in your mind, as of you were going to teach someone else to do it. Imprinting is rewarding and encourages you to move on at a reasonable pace, knowing you've made a huge accomplishment happen.
Review the publication standards, or suggest a proofreader app (or ask me or another WA member) just to check your grammar or readability of your writing. Many of my students used grammarly just once and improved their content writing dramatically. Also inboundwriter or kibin have free plans available. Just copy and paste.
Hope this helps. ^_~0957/5/26
Thanks for commenting, all good advice.
Yes it would be nice, need to have someone check my work for readability, as when I read it, sometimes it doesn't flow nicely, something I need to brush up on.
How do I find inboundwriter or kibin? Just put the name in search, only checking, so I learn to do it the right way.
Type them in search, add .com (your really don't have to), then enter, and Google or Bing have them in the #1 spot or take you direct to the page. If you need more help, give me a holler. 0307/5/27
Hi Caylynn.
Appreciate you returning to answer my question, thanks I will do that.
Another question, interested what those numbers are at the bottom of your comment, wouldn't have thought any thing about it the first time, but the second time they are different.
Don't have to tell me if you don't want to.
Thanks for everything.
Elsie.
thanks, my sister just laughed when I asked about copy/paste but she showed me...lol.
I will take your advice and thanks again
ah...hello....I'm having trouble with sharing...no clue...even after video. I am so new to comps that I don't even know copy/paste...the basics. I'm here to learn so could someone help me out with how to share with social media????
Thanks for commenting ledgend180.
You sure look like you need help. I am new here also, but I can copy and paste.
Maybe you should go to chat, and ask for help, as WA gives you all the lesson to teach you how to do affiliate marketing successfully, but I haven't seen anything teaching you to use a computer.
Sorry I haven't been very helpful.
kiwinana - I took the liberty of finding you a keyword in Jaaxy to use in your title for a Hubpage and/or another article place of your choosing. It is "reasons women lose hair". When writing in Hubpages, you cannot sound to promotional. They can sniff it out. Just provide 3,5,10 reasons as to why women lose hair.
Put the keyword in the title, the first paragraph of the hub (summary) and in the last paragraph. Sprinkle in other forms of the keyword throughout, but don't go overboard, because Hubpages and Google can sniff it out. Also, add a picture with the form of the keyword.
As an example, your title should be something like this: Five Reasons Women Lose Hair. Simple enough. Then site your reasons, one per capsule and go for 1000 words. Once approved, Google will eat this up.
Here are the stats on the keyword, "reasons women lose hair". 142 searches per month, QSR (Quoted Search Results) 30 and SEO Power of 100. Once this get indexed and climbs the charts, Google will rank it for other versions of the keyword and you will get even more free search traffic.
Hope this helps and let me know of any results. It may take a couple of weeks to see traffic start taking off on your hub and site. Good luck.
wa23
Thank you wa23, I will use those keywords, I appreciate you spending your time looking for suitable keywords, good suggestion for a hub, to write one about women's loss of hair.
I will let you know how I get on with it.
Ok my next assignment is making a hub page, brain unfreeze with these helpful suggestions.
Have a nice day.
Yep, there is a lot of writing to do. I am pretty bad about the articles, I'm still trying to get my website looking acceptable (maybe not perfect but definitely better than it is today). I saw something from Carson this week, about how we need to concentrate on perfecting the website and maybe spending 50/50 time between article writing and website improvement. Hopefully that will be a good plan for me. Just wanted to pass that thing along.
Kali
Thanks Kallinozarks for passing it on.
I agree, 50% of the time spent learning here, should be writing articles, not copying articles, it's just a matter of time, sitting down and let the words flow after deciding which keywords to use.
Hi, Elsie! Kudos to you for persevering with your training tasks. It certainly can be daunting at times. Know that you are not alone in your feelings of being overwhelmed. It does sound like you are creating workable plans for success, though. Keep that up and you will pull through :o)
I think the one thing I've learned recently regarding doing so much writing on sources outside of my WP blog is to NOT do so much writing outside of my WP blog (lol)! Currently, I have been concentrating more on creating quality content on my website -- keeping it active and engaging. Doing so seems to be giving me much better rankings and allowing me to attract more visitors, esp. from Pinterest. That might be something you want to consider at this point.
Also, I took a look at your website as you requested. I think you are doing great! Your niche is definitely a relevant one -- many people are interested in hair loss and hair loss prevention. The content on your front page is strong, persuasive and very useful. I like the way you draw your visitors into your site and encourage them to explore the site in more detail. Good job!
I did find, however, several overly long or "sticky" sentences that made the flow of the writing falter a little bit. If most of those were corrected, I believe it would make the writing easier to understand and give a more pleasant reading experience for your visitors.
There is a free online editor I've been using and it's really cool. The site is prowritingaid.com. It helps you identify areas of your writing that may need attention. All you do is cut & paste suspect parts of your piece into the software analyzer and the program analyzes and "critiques" the writing for you. Then you can choose to follow through with the suggested edits or disregard them. I have found it to be an excellent online resource to add to my writing toolkit.
Hope this helps!
Keep up the good work, Elsie!

Thanks Marie for commenting.
I appreciate what you said and will check the site "Loss of hair," and improve it.
That site is one I was doing before I joined WA, but needed help, still need to sort it out, haven't promoted it yet, but Google may have pick it up, it's not the same as it was, I lost all data and had to redo it when changing servers last week, bit afraid it may be picked up as duplicated, so giving it a bit of time before doing much to it.
Thank you the above comment will be used as soon as I get the other site done.
The site I am building now is the "growing old' website, I have just added it, sorry my mistake, but thanks if you hadn't of commented, I wouldn't have realized my mistake.
I will take your advice and work on making more content on my site, I am spending to much time worrying about what to write and the rejections, like what happen with the Hub Page, which slows me down with stress.
Things have changed a lot, on the internet with all the google's panda etc, it is not easy to pass the filters, I know because of Squidoo.
I never knew anything about the online editor, I will certainly use that.
Sorry once again,
Elsie.

Thanks Matt,
It's been nice meeting you. I notice you were new, but you seem to have more understanding than I have, but I am a willing learner and will make it.
Will see you around,
Elsie.
Kiwinana,
I have degrees in Computer Information Systems and have been running my own computer and network repair business. I think this gives me a little bit of a heads up on everyone else. It's definitely not you though, I think it's just all relative to me. Keep at it and it will all make sense eventually.
Take care,
Matt
