How I Make Money Online - Creating, Managing & Monetizing Your Web Presence

Making money online is exactly the same as making money offline!

Someone has to give it to you in exchange for something that they find valuable but only if they connect with your story. This is why you find high street stores arranging the products in such a way that they are appealing and within reach of the customer

Say I own a shop on the high street; fully staffed, with the doors open for trading, but no products. Then there would be no customers even if there is a stream of traffic coming through the doors.

If on the other hand I have the products that people want but kept them hidden in my bedroom then no sales would be generated.

You have to position your products in the best location where they would be easily accessible to the would be customer.

So getting the right balance is key!

However, simply having the right location, right products and the right audience in itself is not sufficient to be successful. You still have to sell the product. You need to stand out just to survive and to get ahead.

Some people stand out by giving exceptional value whilst some others build a special connection to their audience through story telling.

Whatever you do build a connection.

Earning online does not fully revolve around reviews and earning a commission as part of a sale.

My business revolves around programming and websites. This is my first love, I would be happy to spend all day and everyday finesing techniques to make better programs and websites.

However I would be unhappy manually churning out the same code every time. I make it a point to visualize what I want to achieve, reflect on things as elaborated by WA. When it comes to implementation, it pays to think outside the box.

Most sites on WA here are focused on Affiliate reviews to earn that all important commission that they ignore other possibilities to maximize their websites earning potential. If someone does not like your review or is not quite ready to purchase, that person immediately becomes a lost cause! This is because lead magnets are not implemented sending their prospects blindly to the merchant without getting an email in return.
This ignores email marketing. Thereby, not maximizing their potential website conversions. With minor tweeks, your review site can also be turned into a lead magnet (worth its weight in gold).

Do not underestimate the power of ecommerce where you sell your products and/or services. You can still have your affiliate reviews though this will become largely redundant as you can introduce affiliate products as tools that you already use.

You can even have affiliate products in your online store.

Kind regards

Great post, Vincent! Thanks for sharing!

Interesting. Be guided with WA rules and regulations! Cheers!

Hi King,
first off welcome to the community. I do hope you find the training helpful and glad to see you have some passions with programming.

Hobbies and passions are important to have.

Secondly, on a more serious note, I recommend you remove this post.

Wealthy Affiliate is a no spam zone and your blog seems to implement that you are looking to sell some kind of product or services to people that contact you.

THIS IS A BIG NO-NO- you can see the WA guidelines here- Please do not underestimate WA as you also imply email marketing is not taught here( although this in not true if you go through the training).

I also see you are new here and have not provided any proof that you could take someones website to the "Next Level".

If you are here to strictly sell your services, you will have to go else where. as we cannot have people leaving a bad taste in WA members that think you are part of the program.

If you are here to learn and up your game, improve, try new techniques, experience the WA/Jaaxy product. Then that's awesome and welcome to the community.

But once again, please remove the post, and do not sell your services here whether through PM or blogging on this platform. This will only confuse and frustrate members of the community and give Wealthy Affiliate a bad name.

Hope this is just a misunderstanding.

All the best,

Brandon

No I am not selling anything!
I am just looking to connect with anyone that may need my help!

To make that clearer, I have edited and removed the last paragraph.

Hey Brandon

Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry for any misunderstanding that may have had. That was not my intention. I have edited the post to make it clearer.

This is a post aimed to generate a conversation about website possibilities and best practices to maximize an entrepreneur's earning potential.

I hope that clears the issue up!

All the best

Vincent

Thank you for the post edit.
All good. Just want to make sure WA stays a safe zone for affiliate marketers. It's one of the things I find special about this community.

Have a great day/night Vincent.

Best Regards,
Brandon
