Covid 19 and i
A lot has happened between the start of the year and now. It is still unclear what the effects of the current COVID-19 pandemic will have on our health infrastructure and global finance.
I have always been told that it is better to think high level and that the details will follow later but the events of the last two weeks have put things in perspective for me.
I live in the heart of London by the Thames with my mum who is a nurse. I have been told to advise her to stop working for fear of the virus.
Who am I to try to stop her from trying to help in her own little capacity?
I also have a little niece who travelled all the way from Africa for a major surgery. She is brave, does not like pain but accepts it to get better.
She has just had the surgery and is doing great. She alsways have a smile on her face even with tears streaming down her eyes.
My mum has started coughing, I am as well. I have stopped visiting the hospital as I have to self isolate.
However, I am not scared as my four year old niece have taught me that as long as you have a smile on your face and hope in your heart. There is nothing that you cannot conquer!
Remember to keep safe!

Your attitude says so much about you Chido, you are a giver and yes your little niece is indeed brave especially with the solid encouragement she gets from her uncle.
