Not a Typical Wednesday, Either!

I had typed up a blog to post on Monday, then I learned a valuable lesson. When you are new you may only post one blog per day for the first 3 months. So, I thought I saved it as a draft, but oops, that didn't happen! lol An errant stroke of keys and it was gone.

However, my impatience to share it turned out to be a virtue. I decided I can post anything I want on my own page, and no one can tell me to wait! :) And, so I didn't! My typical Wednesday would begin as my typical Monday would have... check that out below, and feel free to leave a comment, please. :)

The rest of this post will make much more sense if you first read, "NOT a Typical Monday!" So, today, I dropped my husband off at work and am proving the premise of my entire website, that you truly can work from anywhere. (Well, anywhere there is an internet connection.) We live a half hour drive out of town, so we generally plan to only make that trip once a day, just to save on time, gas, expenses, etc.

I have thoroughly enjoyed planning my day on a calendar this week. I know that seems like a small thing, but it is really something I have never really done. Because this is my first week of "FREEDOM," I think this simple act is giving me all the more pleasure. Today, my plan was to spend the morning at Barnes & Noble, to have the internet access I wanted to work on blog posts, do research, or whatever else caught my fancy. I had other plans for the afternoon, including lunch with a close friend (who still works at my former job.)

I KNOW, CUT TO THE CHASE!

Tami and I often discuss writing, as she's been unsure how to get started, but has many things she wants to say. We had a delightful lunch and conversed about many things. I had the pleasure of sitting down with her and sharing so much in just an hour, including how to go about getting her own FREE website at WA.

She is always extremely busy with work and family, but I am convinced (and I think she is, too) that having her own blog will help her accomplish just what she is wanting to share with the world. Before I discovered WA, we talked about what a great outlet journaling can be for a writer. Now, with me branching out, I think she is about to embark on this journey with me. Yes, I am so excited!

My plans with my niece for the afternoon were cancelled due to it being a rainy day. I can't even say that I mind, because I've spent the day writing content for my website and having some pretty cool exchanges here at WA. All while proving that you truly CAN work from anywhere!

Today was an awesome, NOT typical Wednesday!

Yes, very blessed, :)

How awesome is that, great stuff. I love to hear stories of the dream working out, thanks for sharing. :)

Just having the time to write has been a wonderful experience. Now I need to start making some money so I can hire a maid and write while they take care of my chores lol or maybe not... just being at home today is a wonderful feeling. Thanks for leaving a comment, Cindy.

Hi, Kenester. Thanks for reconfirming the ideas in my blog. I appreciate the kind comments.

Thanks.
Yes, you trully can work from anywhere. Your writing gift can be expressed anywhere. WA gives the space to be free to express our thoughts in writing. Great blog.
