Progress or not
I thought I would share my thoughts and in the process learn to write an article. I'm new to WA and have reached level 2 of the training. I have my own domain and I'm in the process of writing an article as well as completing my About page which I keep returning to and changing. Honestly? I just don't know what to write having not achieved much during my lifetime. Actually that's wrong. I have 3 grown up children; I first went abroad in 2011 to Skiathos and since then have been to Lanzarote, Madeira and Niagara Falls. I dont have any qualifications but I did go to secretarial college. Since then I have worked in an office, shelf filling on the Twilight shift for Tesco, worked as a care assistant in a residential home and for Kingston Crossroads and then back to office work for, it feels like, forever. Now I really want to do something for myself, to achieve something and to be my own boss. Being led to WA was the best thing to happen to me in a while and I didn't expect it to be an easy ride, indeed I look forward to the challenge ahead. So for now my progress is slow.

Just keep pushing forward and raising kids is a job in itself good job and just keep following the training and you will do amazing
Hey, it's great to see you going! Wishing you a lot of success here.
To be honest, I can totally relate to you about writing as you often just dont understand what to write. But frankly, qualifications or degrees are not the only things that define your achievements or success. Just try to write or describe about your strengths & all that you've done so far.
I created my wife's food blog site here a couple of years back & she too does not have any qualifications, even though she's more than a masterchef to me. So I had the same struggle trying to write an impressive about me page for her but finally managed to do so by just writing about her life & experiences. You can feel free to refer to it if you like as the link to her site is there on my profile! :)
Wish you luck!
Hi Gyan
Many thanks for your comments. I have checked out your wife's website, thank you, and the about me page is really impressive. I've also looked at some of the amazing recipes.

Thanks for sharing. You have 3 grown up children it will be rewarding to share what that was like. I am certain you have some stories you can share and people will relate to you. Look forward to hearing more of your story. Welcome to WA.
Kim...you are a natural writer!
What you have written above is perfect for your About Page intro to you!
Don't get too stuck on any one thing here at WA...just keep ploughing forward and get that content written and published so the world can see you!
