First Sale!
I just got a very modest first commission - $0.50 - but hey it feels great! I've been working very hard the last three months and put roughly 30 articles in my site despite being in my last semester of grad school.
Regardless of the size of the sale, the fact that I got it gives me so much encouragement that my hard work is finally starting to get me somewhere! (This comes just a week after I started getting lots of traffic from sharing articles on social media!)
I've read so many success posts like this, getting motivation off of them without having real results to show from my site itself, so its great to now be able to contribute to them as well.
I hope this is an encouragement for those who are still in the early phases. It's okay to be skeptical of the process - I'm as skeptical as they come. But it does work!

If you don't mind, I would like to suggest working on creating ebooks. This will bring you a higher commission (it's your book). Also, there are ways to duplicate your website and sell it to others who will then promote them in an attempt to make money off of it. I've seen successful blogging expand their reach through PLR websites that they sell to others and they are chalk full of links back to your website all over the internet. Natural backlinking! To avoid penalties from Google you could offer unique articles for every sale (maybe 5 articles of yours that you've spun or are original). I would be interested in a Christian PLR website and that niche is ripe for the picking.
