Don't Want Google To Track You While In Your Site
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share this training video that is really easy to look up, but this is just a recap of how to do it for some of our newer members or ones that never saw it to begin with.
You can filter out your IP address in your Admin. area in Google Analytics so you are not being tracked every time you are working in your site or double checking things while in your site. Now keep in mind this will lower your traffic stats so don't get too worried about it.
This video was created by Jay and should give you every step to take care of this.

FYI - for those using mifi units, or anything else to access the internet that does not have a static ip address, you will have to change your filter ip address each time you want to visit your site.
Jay does not discuss that here but I want people to be aware that dynamic ip addresses exist and make this process a little more complicated if you don't want your website visits to count.
Thank you Kim for sharing this with everyone! :) I actually had this one bookmarked! :)
