Pin it to Win it.
Are you PIN it to win it?
So, I will say first that all of my other blog posts have been about lacking motivation & needing help.
Well you guys, I can finally help you! I am so excited about this.
Before
Just briefly a little bit of background here.
I have been with WA since July and pushing to make it in the online world. With my niche not being too specific and being quite popular I started to learn very quickly that I had a lot of work ahead of me.
Then seeing all of the wonderful posts about the money people were making I think I had the same thought that everyone else has at one point.
Why isn't that me?
Thankfully my brain is wired with determination and competitivness.
They can do it, so can I.
And away blogging I continued.
I got sidetracked by shiny things - I really need to STOP following facebook groups about how to make money online. I found my grove here and none of those posts on Facebook can give me what WA has.
I really started liking writing - which still surprises me but the more I posted the more I loved adding things to my site category and just scrolling through all of the things that I did for my site.
Getting Social
The time came. I posted a few things on my personal FB wall about my site but it was time to create social media business accounts.
So I did so, and honestly, I don't have a whole bunch of followers but that's okay.
I converted my personal pinterest account into a business one. Which means my 100+ personal followers are now seeing my business posts.
I wasn't really much of a pinner anyways so it didn't bother me one bit.
I Found It
Has anyone ever heard of Tailwind?
It's a game changer.
I actually signed up for it about a month ago but didn't follow through. Silly me.
Now I will tell you why I am bouncing out of my seat.
For those of you who don't know Tailwind it automates your pinterest postings.
BAM!
You schedule your pin and it's added to the calender. You can choose when you want each pin to be posted and it autopins.
Why This Is So Exciting
So now I will show you what makes me so happy about utilizing Tailwind.
You see that?
158 new views in one day because of pinterest.
I thought I was dreaming when I seen that and when I looked this morning, I went back into that dream mode I was in when I first joined WA.
-I can buy a house, I can surprise my hubby with a trip, I can quit my job (which is really hard to juggle both WA and full time work) I can start a family without being stressed about money, I can get my yoga cert and teach yoga all day.
I love that dream mode and seeing this makes me think - okay I can go back to that place and find ways to set goals.
One More Thing
One more thing about Tailwind & social media posting that I have learned.
Hashtags
Hashtags are that one way where you can be part of the keyword that you wouldn't post about.
I know this works especially well for instagram but for example I will use the keyword - how to make money online. We all know that this keyword is challenging to rank high in BUT if you hashtag it in an instagram or pinterest post the post gets added to the hashtag category.
So when I hashtag "howtomakemoneyonline" the post gets added to the category which allows you to have some exposure to the high ranking keywords.
It's great for instagram & you can click on your hashtags to see how many people are following each hashtag.
So, happy blogging everyone. Utilize Tailwind for all of it's glory - I just opened up the App today and they will do instagram posting as well!
Hashtag a hashtag if you need to and best wishes for your future success!
Cheers,
Kahlua
CRAP!
I almost forgot to tell you too.
Another app I have connected with is IFTT which takes your pinterest posts and posts them to FB, Google+, Twitter. The only thing it won't post to is Instagram but you just have to search the applet (what they are called) and get it running after you have connected all of your accounts.
So really, all that I do for social media is: once a blog post is ready, I pin it right away. Then I schedule it through Tailwind to be pinned at a later date, I copy the description & hashtags from pinterest and email them to myself with a picture for instagram and that's it.
But to the people who follow me - they see
At least 5 pinterest posts a day
Which gets posted on my FB, Twitter & Tumblr.
BTW I signed up for a Tumblr account and haven't been on the site once since I signed up and I have 50 posts on there.
Now I am on the journey of learning how to grow my following but hashtags are doing great for helping that out.
I hope you have a great day!

I love this!
It seems to me the way to keep social media traffic flowing is through daily posts and engagement. That can take a lot of time, especially if one is using multiple platforms. So any automation a person can use is a win!
I plan to use social media to drive leads immediately, while I develop my blog. My blog will eventually rank in Google, but that will take more time.
Thanks for sharing!!!
Jeff
Jeff,
So great to hear!
Ya, it's a challenge to keep up with all of the postings on social media. I am so grateful to have found automation in it.
Let me know if you have any questions along the way!

I have to admit I've had tailwind for a while now but I just don't understand it. They need to make a book "Tailwind for dummies". I spend about 2 hours a day pinning and adding new followers to my media accounts. It's a slow process but I'm getting there. Jim
