When My Comments Get Rejected
I don't ask for comments on my sites because they're more religious, political with local politics, and personal. I also used the skills taught at WA to build websites for local clients whose sites I host here on WA with my Premium Membership.
Recently, I decided that I will get more active here on WA and I started engaging with the community, like browsing and commenting on sites.
I am not an expert in the content of one website so I felt I'm not qualified to offer comment on the content and its technical details. I therefore offered my views on the functionality of the site of metrics like:
- How easily it loaded;
- Ease of navigation;
- A very captivating "About Me" page;
- How beautiful I thought the site was;
- And some thoughts on how the site can be improved with more detailed content with the pillar post and cluster post strategy, interlinking between articles, etc.
Like I said, I could not offer comments on the contents itself because I have no knowledge nor experience in that particular topic.
My comments got disapproved by the site owner. I felt bad. And regretted that despite my own busy schedule and not enough time to work on my own sites, I tried to be engaging by browsing others sites to offer comments. I've now resolved not to wander into that space again.
Wealthy Affiliate offers a very comprehensive and all-in-one package platform for business, education, skills development and training, community, online entrepreneurship and more. I have found a niche to build and host local clients websites with my premium membership. This is all from the skills and education I received from WA.
No technical challenges. WA website development and hosting platform takes care of everything and do all the technical heavy lifting. Out of the 50 site hosting spaces I have for premium, if I allocate 40 for my local clients and charge $5000 annual fees for becoming their webmaster (which is much less than what people charge around here), that would be $200,000 per annum. That would be $150,000 more than my day-job activism income of $50,000
I'm grateful that Wealthy Affiliate offers unlimited opportunities that goes beyond establishing online business to education, skills development and how you can use your skills to help others while monetizing your expertise and education gained here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Cheers and wishing you all the best in your journey here at Wealthy Affiliate.

The same happened to me when I first started, Kessy. I was very discouraged, but then I read the link that Kyle posted.
So, I followed what the comment was asking, and that worked.
Don't be disheartened :)

I am sorry you have had that unfortunate experience. I am certain because I it has happened to me that some people just want to be told they are doing great, and consequently reject your constructive comment.
Delighted that you have put your hosting to good use, well done
I would prefer honest and direct criticism over flattery any day of the week. It would motivate a change if I agreed with the suggestions or points..

That sounded more like a website feedback
