Yay! I'm finally a certified commentator!

I might be a little late on this post considering that the certified commentator update has been here for a while and the hype has recently died down...

But nevertheless, I'm certified and I intend to keep the status!

Some Tips And Tricks

For the newbies out here, or even some of the more experienced WA members, I'm going to give out a few tips and tricks to getting towards the certified commentator status.

It's not going to be the stuff that other people have talked about already either.

While things such as making genuine comments and actually reading the entire post is crucial to success as a commentator, I'm going to give some different tips to accelerate your progress even more.

1. Do It For The Learning, Not The Money

As backwards as it sounds, if you post comments for the money, you're going to have a difficult time getting money.

In the beginning, I didn't actually have the intention of becoming a certified commentator, nor did I want any credits to use either.

I wanted to build my knowledge more.

I wanted to see how other people were building their sites and what kinds of things they wrote on it. I also felt that if I read so many articles, I would also learn about the individual niches and further my knowledge.

The results have certainly paid off too.

For example, recently I read and commented on a post about becoming a health coach. It was a very well written post and it enlightened me on how I can improve my own badminton blog.

In the future I will probably reference that post again when I start to expand my badminton blog into bigger things.

2. How To Write Genuine Comments On Topics That You're Unfamiliar With

Sometimes, certain posts can be extremely difficult to write about. But most of the time, you should be able to work with the content listed down.

When writing comments on topics you don't know much about, try to think about your own personal life and how the post you're reading might help whether or not you're going to buy their product.

Another strategy is to do some research about the topic before and then use some of that research in your comments by asking them questions or agreeing with them based on your research.

It takes a bit of time, but this is something you don't want to rush.

Don't be afraid of asking questions either. Many blog writers will like questions such as "Could you please point me to a post on how to get started?"

3. Secret Tricks For High Approval Rates

As you can see right now, I do have 100% Approval Rate and the trick was to create genuine comments that are relevant to the post. While this tactic is out there, too many people ignore it and make comments that don't make any sense.

A secret that I am going to let out now, though, is to make positive comments no matter what your opinion on the post is.

I always start off my post with a compliment. Then I usually talk about my personal experience with "x" niche and how their post helps me out.

Then I usually end with a question about the topic they are writing about.

Make yourself a business lead when you comment. The blog writer should feel appreciated by your comment and should feel like he/she is someone that can help you.

Generally don't make any comments about how they write or the design of the site. That's for Site Feedback.

Also try to express yourself as someone who will buy whatever they are promoting, or agree with them if they are reviewing a scam.

These aren't nifty tactics either, they genuinely help both the commentator and the blog writer.

The commentator gets approved and the blog writer gets a nice comment that can entice others to comment organically and help people who need more help after reading the post.

What Are Your Tactics?

Although I have only been consistently commenting on people's sites for about a week and a half, these are some strategies I've been using to have more fun and get more credits.

There are definitely things I could improve and tips on this post that after reading aloud, might sound a little sketchy.

Comment below on what you think!

I intend to continue commenting whenever I have the free time. The great thing about being certified is that I can actually earn more from commenting than my own blogs.

Of course, I will still be working on my blogs, but the commenting system might be great for me to pay for my WA premium subscription.

Has anyone done it before? 100 comments in less than 30 days?

Thank you! Good luck with getting certified as well!

Thanks, Kevin, for sharing this.
Congratulations on attaining the Certified Commentator.
All the best and success to you.

Thank you!

Well done, Kevin, and best wishes as you continue commenting.

Approaching the process, like an organic site visitor, can pay dividends for both parties.

I agree with you. This is definitely the way to go!

Excellent post Kevin. I was not even aware you could become a certified commentator. Must have missed that part of the WA System Tour.

I really like your emphasis on doing it for a greater purpose than just the money. And the points you raise are very insightful.

Keep up the great work.

Thank you! It was something that added pretty recently so Kyle and Carson may not have integrated it into the WA System Tour yet.

Congratulation

Thank you!
