okay I will be the first one to admit it I AM A PROCRASTENATOR . I am just saying that because I have not asked any questions yet but I will . So here goes question #1 well its kind of a statement and a question . So I purchased a domain name called it bla bla bla from godaddy.com It has been sitting idle for almost 2 months and I probably should have gotten advise about what to do with it as far as starting a Amazon store front which I had no idea how to do but I had good intentions. turns out that Amazon furnishes a site on their own platform so i guess I didn't really need it . but on the other hand I herd something about promoting affiliate offers and also commissions from Amazon selling products for them be referral. So what I did was contacted the IRS for an LLC which It turns out that that will come in pretty handy . Any advise what I should do with it ? I do know that my business can be sued but not me personally. I have COUPLE IDEAS BUT THAT IS JUST THE THING ONLY IDEAS NO ACTION I need a call to action but don't know how.? Help
You'll need to upgrade so you can access the step by step training on building your Amazon affiliate site.
While the LLC wasn't necessary at this stage (or possibly ever) since you have one you likely also have a registered agent, or should look into getting one. It will be invaluable if you incorporate an email list into your structure. Don't want folks showing up at your house. :)
The basics are this.
You will need to pick a niche. That is a narrow area. A quick search appears most results are courses you need to upgrade to access. You might be able to read this post by the founder though. A Niche is A Group of People Looking for Stuff I'm not sure if your domain name blah blah blah will be suitable for a niche, if not you may wish to get a new one. One comes free now I believe with a paid membership.
Ok, so with that out of the way, you want to start writing in this niche. Some folks jump straight to pushing products. I personally think that is jumping the gun a bit, and the initial focus should be on informative posts that focus solely on the niche. Get some traffic first, get some trust.
Folks will often do comparison posts, or offer how to posts that showcase the Amazon products.
Remember, you don't want your site to feel like a store. If folks were looking for that they would just go straight to Amazon. They are looking instead for someone like themselves that can guide them to the right choice. :)
There's a lot more to this, but that's a general rundown.

Thank You Jason , The actual name of my domain isn't really bla bla bla I just used the as a metaphor because I didn't know if I could actually say the real name as somebody might say that I was trying to promote it. The actual name of the domain is electroputic kind of a mix of therapeutic & electronic. I called it that because I want to have a site that is exclusive on consumer electronics you know like all the best selling (doo dads) and get commissions from Amazon for directing buyers to Amazon. I still haven't figured out how to go about doing that but I still think it was a good idea. As far as writing about the site, maybe I would research the products of consumer electronics and write things about them. You have some awesome advice and I look forward to hearing more on the subject of this in communications to come
