Yeah, I've been there too. My internet connection drove me nuts while I was recovering from my knee replacement in the hospital.
The pain meds made it difficult to focus but I was still able to interact with the community and even got a few articles written. The nursing staff thought I was nuts to be working from my bed.
There was some interest though. I thought one Nurse was even going to join WA but that didn't pan out.

I had 4 large pieces of cartilage taken out of my right knee also around 20 years ago. I feel your pain. I hope you are doing well> On good note, congrats on your articles.

This is what IM is all about, the ability to do what you do basically anywhere in the World as long as you have Internet connection and a portable device. Thanks for sharing this and hope for a quick and healthy recovery.

WOW I had that and it sucks, I had to be on crutches for six weeks after though. thought I was going to be back to running. Dr said no no no for now on only walking. So I guess I will someday get to take back to running in heaven....; O)

Hope your was better. and you will be back to life soon, well I guess that does not include work you seem to be back at that. LOL
