Reaching out to someone in WA
Today for the first time I reached out to someone to help this person find a niche easily and really quick and was told it sounds dodgy. This has really disappointed me as I thought that's what WA was all about. I am not a dodgy person and for this reason I will not reach out again.

I agree with everything everyone else has said here - when people react like that it reflects more on them than anything you did or didn't do.
You don't help people for the praise, you help because that's just the kind of person you are and you should never change yourself for anyone.
It's the same with a website or YT channel - you're always going to get the amazing comments and the nasty ones. Don't let it get to you.

Ken, Ken my fellow brother do not take what other people say to you to heart. There are people like that here and not everyone is like that there are great people here.
Please remember why you joined WA in the first place and stick with that. Once you pull out this same person will remain and continue working. Do not let things like this get to you just brush it off and move on with what you do best. We are here for you.

Sorry to hear that - but I can tell you this... No matter where you go or what you try to do you will encounter all kinds of people.
Some will be of great help to you and others will be a complete pain in the tail, will provide nothing of value and will eat up most of your time too - if you let them.
You will also encounter all kinds of rejection - and that is just part of any business and in all other areas of life, if you are trying to do anything at all that matters.
So do as you wish - but I suggest you do not let such things bother you, simply move on and keep moving. Ask for other opinions from other people. Evaluate what they tell you (good and bad) and then you decide whether or not to use that information and how to use it or not use it at all.
I hope you decide to say around my friend - there are MANY great people here in WA who are willing and able to help you. You will also be able to inspire and help others along your journey too, and I hate to see you miss out on all of that.
Regardless of what you do, I wish you well in all that you do in business and in life.

Don't worry about it Ken, one bad experience doesn't mean every member is like that!
There are far more awesome members than the ones that don't appreciate any kind of help. Those are the ones that won't hang around for long. As far as reaching out, don't stop, IT IS what the Wealthy Affiliate community is all about my friend!

I hear you but now I have to first wonder if someone will be offended and well I have enough issues dealing with my PTSD don’t need anymore. Thanks for reaching out though much appreciated
When someone gets offended by someone who wants to help, they just don't want to be helped and there is no need to be offended by it, it's in their mindset not yours!!!

Unfortunately there are many here who, though they might not intend to be, can be quite off-putting. It goes when the territory when we deal with large groups. there's no pleasing everyone all the time, but you can please some of them some of the time!

Wow--I can understand how you feel then! You've got to realize that many here don't want the help, but they'll find out the hard way that they should take help when offered. Still, don't let a rotten apple spoil your endeavors here, my friend!
