Starting a Wild Ride
I was just recommended to this community a few days ago, and here I am getting my website started! I'm terrified of starting this journey because my end result is that I want to live off of my earnings from my online business. This will allow me to focus my efforts entirely on my personal brand, which means I'll have more time to help give advice to people with social anxiety. But I don't know too many people that have been successful at an online business, or a business in general, so this is a completely new experience for me.
Even though it's terrifying, I'm taking the firsts steps toward a wild ride which will hopefully end in my dream career, and that's exciting. So here we go!

Nothing to be terrified about. You're bot in a competition, so just be patient with yourself and be thorough. Dont skip anything. There are no shortcuts. Lay the foundation for a long lasting success.

Kennedy, don't focus on the success (or failures) of others. Success is speculative and a deeply personal thing. I have been self-employed and self-sustaining as a writer since I was 19 years young. But, my name has never been on the Oprah Book Club list or a household word (except around my address, anyway) but I acknowledge myself as being a success. It was risky striving on my own - but I did it.
Having been with WA 2 years now, I suggest...
1) Learn and follow the community rules Spam is a NO NO! 2) When you have any questions... don't bog yourself down. Reach out the ASK the community. Help is a click away.
3) Stay with your lessons and work them as your go along. Because I market my own choice of affiliate products I did the "Certification" training that had me up and running in days! The Bootcamp is best starting out if you will be marketing WA as an affiliate. I have since found many things from bootcamp applicable to my independent work.

You are a Self-Starter with an Entrepreneurial mind and a strong heart for helping others. YOU are ALREADY - a SUCCESS, because at such a young age - you have achieved so very much of what you have chosen to do for yourself. Rather than to wait and DREAM or TALK about doing it - you DID IT!
I meant to add a #4 to my list...
4) As you learn... jump in and help someone else in WA that may be having a problem you have overcome. You actually get "points" for doing that but mostly - you foster the friendly environment we have here and it just FEELS GOOD!
